It used to be you had people on your journal list for the reason that they enjoyed reading the contents.. but now it appears to be a race to see how many people they can get on their list regardless of the contents! It is sad really because if anyone does happen to go to Bloody Feather for the purpose of good journal reads they will be dismayed as to why some journals are so popular! And that will be a downfall for that particular site in my opinion.
My number of readers have increased yes..no diversion of my own making but it just appears that a whole load of people are on this crazy race to improve status.
I won't be playing that game.. people are on my list because they want to be and if it takes years to get to the next level (as it probably will at the rate I am going) they so be it. I don't love Vampire Rave that much to live and breath it.
lol yep, I dont' blame you. I add everyone's journal that ask me to but I also read each and every journal. It can take a while. It does get disappointing when people that ask you to add stop writing. Its like give me something to read.
I honestly hate adding people and journals because i know they just want it to boost their status. Do I ever see them come to my journal? Nope, never. do they message me? Nope, or rarely. And I am bad for keeping in touch with people as well, but why should I always be the one to come up with a conversation?
The Weekend

I went away to Rossnowlagh, Co. Donegal for the weekend and invited Paddy, Kathyrn and the baby to join me in the families mobile home on the beach front. Summer is the sweetest little babe I ever did see, and she certaintly made me laugh so much at her antics! At only 10 months she is a walking doll! Mind you her wee legs are like rubber when she is tired though. I thought it was pretty amazing she has learned to walk before she crawls....she really is a gifted and intelligent child. We thank God for the gifts he has given her.
Of course as usual the heavens opened this afternoon and it pee'd down..so I went home but I made sure I got a good hours jog n' walk around the sound this morning. It was truly amazing ...miles and miles of empty beaches and just the noise of the seagulls emphatic screams, the thud of horses hooves as riders thundered by and the calming sound of the ocean as it crashed on the shore... I was happy in that moment of time and felt so relaxed as after all it was this tranquility I had seeked away from the tough and pressurized city and business life.
I was thinking on the way back home that I might see what I can do to buy a home of some sorts there...now that would be nice, and not too far away :)
Well frig that!! I spent time doing a journal entry and *voila* wrong key ta and the bloody thing disspaears.. sooooooo zorry! I am not going to write twice! :p blast!! it dammit.. *snhrts* hoof diggin n all that! grrrrrrrrrrr
Today has been the perfect day business wise.. incredulous! I took the day off and still managed to make considerable resources for the Company, as well as securing two contracts for a new enterprise I am launching as new Company :) Never an idle moment!
I celebrated by taking my sister to Belfast Castle for a slap-up lunch, and shopping after at some beautiful stores...Versace and Hilfinger near Corn-market in Belfast. I got two new dresses, two tops and some classy high heels! *woot*
When I was in Marseilles recently I went to Chateauneuf De Pape the House of Macon. There I experienced the art of wine-tasting at 10am in the morning *barf* but incredously I enjoyed the trip. It was an experience to learn how to test wine.. I bet you never knew to look for the "legs" and to watch how slowly they drain away.. the slower the better apparentetly.
Now, I got a wine tonight with no legs! I guess that means *sozzling* with spelling eroorrsss later giggles. *hic*
It doesn't matter how much you do in kind, that is irrelevant..what really matters is not interupting the natural flow of others who do not realize that yet.
We are all expendable no matter who or what we are.. and there will always be another fool to fill our shoes.
Haha, I was talking to someone online earlier who judged a persons popularilty by how many friends they had on myspace! Now that is nearly as stupid as judging the quality of people by who comments on your journal here in Vampire Rave! Yea.. I have heard it all now! heh. *rolls eyes*
Burning the candle at both ends doesn't always work.. Straight from cruising into a 50 hour working week - I could barely stand when I had to tutor on Friday, and I have been in bed since a work-out at the gym this morning. I hate having a cold.
What ? People need an excuse to stay in bed ??? lol...I hope the cruise went well hon.

I am not sure I am diggin' all of the changes on Vampire Rave. Yeah, the kids love the race to the top of list's and status, and the new interface is groovy but where the hell did the link to your Society dissapear too? and sheesh, well mentoring? that makes me giggle some when I see some of the "mentors!!"
Yea Vines, that option is always there, but I just kinda missed the quick link on the right. Would of been nice to have it in the Societies button in the new interface!
Flood waters toople hotel in South Taiwan Hotel Zusammenbruch in Taiwan .. This is very terrible. It appears that the Far East gets a lot more than their fair share of disasters :(
