The last night on earth was a down fall
The night sky was what lead us to the trees
Everyone sung and danced together
Unaware of what would come to be
Only we walked through the night
Waiting for the sun to rise one last time
The only sounds for us were whispers
The only voice I heard was yours
For every moment I was greatful
Your touch was so soothing and warm
Calm and cold was the breeze
For the last night on earth
We settled down among the trees
You could feel it coming and see the light
Held eachother close as we shut our eyes tight
The burn of the sun came and then it went
And even now you can still catch the ashes
The beautiful feel of them against your skin
When you're walking through the trees just like we did
Remember the feel of comfort on the last night on earth
Once in my dream I saw a sight so rarely seen, a bleeding queen with dying black wings. Praying for death from all the horror’s she had seen.
Torn between her heart and soul, playing along on her deadly sinners role, But from her hands my heart she stole.
I recognize her face and how her life took its toll, Killing my emotions all stacked in a row.
I feel my hate she feels her shame, the vengeance of my heart only her tears could tame. So I’ll look at myself and place the blame. The black poison inside my broken heart makes me open game.
Death peers and with a vacant smile, waiting patiently for her to walk deaths mile, but though she suffers she waits for a while. She cries a river of blood and see’s the reflection of the Reaper who wont keep her, the beat of her heart is like the rhythm of a death song played upon the conscious of her spirit. If I listen closely I can even heart it.
