Bleeding Hearts

Part 1
As they shared their first kiss,
They were so nervous that they nearly missed,
They shared a single heart,
Yet by the hunters,
They were pulled apart,
For it they hated the hunters,
In her opinion she could have loved no one higher,
For she loved a vampire.
Part 2
He visits her during the light,
For people stereotype,
That vampires only come out at night,
They think that all of it is not worth the hype,
He kisses and holds her,
Yet day-by-day it begins to get colder,
He knows something big is coming,
For his race, the hunters are shunning.
Part 3
It is mid-day,
He has come out to play,
As the two embrace,
He puts his cheek against her face,
Then they kiss,
A most passionate kiss,
As they come apart,
A bullet pierces her heart.
Part 4
Blood sprayed from her chest,
As he tried his best,
To save her life,
He pulled out the bullet out that was sharper than a knife,
He saw that his efforts were in vain,
Suddenly his heart filled with pain,
His eyes swelled with tears,
What had come true was the worst of his fears.
Part 5
As he stood he saw the hunter holding the gun,
He exclaimed, “Now look what you have done,”
And he raced towards him,
The hunter fired,
And was dismayed as the bullet did not hit the target desired,
He heard the vampire exclaim,
“My name is Jak, Lord of the Vampires,
And it is your body I will maim!”
Part 6
The vampire lords face had a smile,
As he remembered it had been a while,
Since he had eaten,
He sank his fangs into his preys neck,
As the blood drained he also remembered the last time he bothered to check,
He had never been beaten,
As he ran,
He got a crazy idea.
Part 7
He found their lair,
The hunters evil lair,
He slaughtered the gaurds,
He kicked the door,
And it exploded in shards,
He laughed maniacally,
As he dropped another body to the floor.
Part 8
As he fought his way to the main hall,
He noticed hes strength begging to fall,
He was hit by several bullets,
He made his way to the head hunter’s chambers,
He opened the door and saw a hundred of them,
As soon as he saw the head hunter they open fired on him,
His body hit the floor,
And he breathed nevermore.
Part 9
That is the story of two lovers,
Who where meant to be together,
Though they were different,
The came together like the sky and the weather,
Even though the vampire lord’s heart was smothered,
He tried to save her,
But because of the hunters he had to forsake her,
Their love was unlike any other.
