Jacko is dead... 26.6.2009

10:27 Jun 26 2009
Times Read: 737

Did he fall...Off The Wall?

NO apparently he got food poisoning from an 11 year old wiener?

Reports indicate Michael's last request to the medicoes was to be put on the children's ward for old times sake!

When the paramedics arrived at Neverland they were undecided what to try first but they finall opted for the Dodgems.

Apparently the heart disease that killed Michael comes from his protestant father's side of the family. It's called the 'Billy gene'.

What's the difference between Jacko and Disney films?

Disney films can still touch children!

Aerosmith KBFH

Sound quality: 9

Aerosmith: 29 August 1975

Live at the Schaeffer Music Festival in Central Park, NY.

Aerosmith's first appearance on the King Biscuit Flower Hour radio show was aired September 28, 1975. The one-hour FM rock radio broadcast featured Aerosmith and Gentle Giant sharing the spotlight. The Aerosmith set was recorded live in New York City, during the Shaeffer Music Festival, which was staged at Central Park, in the heart of the big apple.

Over the years, several bootleg recordings emerged from this spirited soundboard recording. The quality pirated versions of this particular concert are Look Homeward Angel, as well as Rock This Way (Monkey Grip). The real find however is the actual King Biscuit Flower Hour product. The sound quality is excellent, as the Boston based band pushed out a tight and energized performance from the stage.

The original broadcast in 1975 did not feature all of the recorded material from the set. Years later, the entire performance was broadcast during the Best of the Biscuit series.

The entire track listing from the KBFH show consists of:

01 Intro... S.O.S. (Too Bad)

02 Somebody

03 Dream On

04 Write Me

05 Walk This Way

06 Sweet Emotion

07 No More No More

08 Same Old Song and Dance

09 Toys in the Attic

10 Train Kept a Rollin'

The inclusion of "Sweet Emotion" is noteworthy, as the song was not included on bootleg versions of this concert performance. During the rail rockin' "Train Kept a Rollin'", the boys breaks into the crime fighting "Theme From Batman". Hello Gotham City!

Any fan of the ass kickin' Aerosmith needs to check out this killer concert recording.

Biography of William Joyce (Lord Haw-Haw) by Irish journalist and writer Mary Kenny. Joyce was not a British subject yet was executed for treason. It's arguable there was no basis for his trial, but he was an anti-semite and would have been happy with a German victory. No doubt any Jews in Britain, had Hitler triumphed, would have got much the same treatment as elsewhere in occupied Europe and no doubt Joyce would have been happy about that, so we shouldn't shed too many tears for this man's inglorious end. The biography is definitive drawing on much new material from official archives and interviews with people who knew Joyce. It is well worth a read for any student of that period.
