and once again, it is the dreaded time of christmas again, which for me means, spending money on people who barely talk to me, bullshitting my way through christmas cards to try and make them sound meaningful. and of course, putting up with the people. the overcrowded shopping centres, congested car parks and all the wonderful stares from everyone who considers themselves as normal.
this year is a little different though, it is time to remember the ones we have lost throughout the year. writing to the families of the deceased, sending my deepest sympathies and reminding them thay are in my thoughts. the times to place flowers at grave sites and memorials.
but on a different note, when are people going to think of some new christmas fucking carols. i hate them with a passion, but if there was a change then maybe i can stand them. btu that does not have to burden me this year, i have banned them throught out the house.
but that is my opinion on the season of merry christmas and a happy new year.
it should be more like 'enjoy the season of stress and being broke, and wish for something to happen in the new year, even though you know it wont.' cuz hey, if you think you are able to carry out a new years resolution, you wouldve done it by now, so good luck with it, i dont see the point....
