Was a little bummed out that I couldn't see the Supermoon last night. It was so cloudy here it was ridiculous. But I could see the brightness of the moon through the clouds.
Oh well, I guess I will have to wait another 100 years to see another one.
Took my daughter to see the circus last night. It was a really good show. But I have to say, the lions looked really tired and old and so did the elephants.
We saw the Ringling Brothers and Barnum and Bailey show. This was the first circus show I went to that had trained house cats and dogs doing tricks in the show. It was really cute to see them out there.
My daughter had a ball!! She was amazed at the acrobats and the illusionists.
I must say, it was however a little expensive. But since it only comes around every so often, it was worth it to see her face and expressions.
I haven't been on in a while. Things at work and home have been really hectic.
But this past week was really bad for me and my daughter.
We took our ten and half month kittens to the vet to get spayed. Picked them up on Thursday and the little gray one wasn't herself. I figured it was because she just had surgery. Friday came around and she started puking up green stuff, wasn't eating or drinking or using her litter box. So I called the vet, took her back in to do blood tests. Found out she is a Type 2 Diabetic, thanks to the stress of the surgery.
Because I could not afford the other blood test to see if it was a preexisting pancreas problem, I had to sign her over to the vet. I couldn't afford to have her put to sleep, I couldn't afford to pay for the two shots of insulin she would have to have every day, so I signed her over the vet. The vet said she would pay for the blood test to see what was happening. If it came back good, then she would adopt her to a family that could afford the medicine, if not she will then have to put Tiger to sleep.
All in all, it was a bad day for me. I had to explain why Tiger wasn't coming to my 4 year old. She took it really hard. It broke my heart, that I couldn't afford the medicine for my daughter's cat.
