I don't want to go to sleep tonight. Here lately I've been plagued with really bad nightmares. They were so bad last night, I woke up having a really bad panic attack. I don't usually get them at all and i'm afraid it will happen again. It doesn't help my situation that I've been coping with a family member, who is like a 2nd mother to me, that was just diagnosed with lung cancer. I may just have to schedule an appointment with my doctor incase it happens again.

How do you cope with the fact that someone close to you is slowly dying from Lung Cancer, and there is nothing you can do but watch as they slowly fade away? I feel so hopeless right now.

You can't think about it that way. Just take it one day at a time. If you can, just kind of put it to the back of your mind to where you ALMOST forget they have it. Just have fun and make sure that they're as comfortable and as happy as possible. I know what it's like. Cancer runs in my family. I'm here to talk if you need to.

i am sorry to hear about that. my nan was diagnosed with breast cancer 15 years ago but she managed to fight it off.. then in october last year she was diagnosed with cancer in the galdbladder.. she sadly passed away on the 22nd november.. at first when she was diagnosed i was thinking why her again?? and she will get over this one too.. but she got worse so quickly that in the end we were all praying for her to go quickly and without more pain as she didnt deserve to suffer anymore.. the best thing you can do is stay strong and try to keep her spirits up.. i know with my nan how hard it is to watch someone you love fade away but you need to understand that it will be best for them to go then to stay here and suffer xxxx

I agree! I thought I was the only one who felt that way. I love Zak and the guys but it was not the same last night. Hell, I went to bed before it went off. :(

The sad thing is, is I think it was the season finale, since they didnt preview next weeks episode.
