The Ultimate Vampire Resource and Directory

As of tomorrow I am going on hiatus. Last night was really rough for me, I was on cam chatting away with friends, when my mother comes in and tells me she had to speak with me when I finished. After I finished she sat me down and told me that my cousin Tom, committed suicide. Apparently Tom and his girlfriend had a huge blowout fight and afterwards decided to hang himself and they discovered his body yesterday. Right now my family needs me and I feel that I need them. I probably won't be back until Sunday the latest so if you need to contact me shoot me a text or something.

Went and saw We're The Millers last night and it was very good. I honestly didn't expect it to be a very good movie but I was wrong about that. I laughed so hard throughout the movie I nearly choked on my popcorn. LOL So if anyone without children preferably and with a sense of humor, wants to see a movie, that is the one I would recommend you seeing.

This is my Luminary that was done in memory of my aunt who passed away late last December for Relay For Life.







This is the front of the Luminary and the quote that is hard to read is a Rocky Balboa quote that says:

Finally this is the back. My aunt loved nature and she loves her dragonflies :)





I meant to put this in the last entry that altogether my mother and I raised $240. I plan to double that amount next year! :) The rest of my family altogether raised and this is with my donation included, close to $1,000. I am pretty proud of that! :)

I've been putting this entry off for a while and now I finally have a chance to write it. As of last week, I spent the whole week up in Iowa with my aunt. Both her, my mom and I were preparing to volunteer and participate in the Relay For Life fundraiser to help raise awareness against different cancers. We filled out close to 900 luminary bags for those who are fighting, who needed support, and those who have passed away. (If I get the chance I will post what my luminary bag looked like) It was a very emotional experience that I really thought I was prepared for but wasn't. Writing some of the messages on the bags, I will admit, left me in tears. There was one that said, "I wish I had 5 more minutes with you" another was a message from a wife to her husband, "You were the only one I have ever loved" The final one was a bag that was submitted in support of a woman who was fighting cancer, only to pass away 2 weeks after the bag was submitted. I had to redo the bag and put it in her memory. All in all it was very emotional and I was thankful to be surrounded by my close family.



Now when we weren't doing the relay, we traveled to LeClaire, Iowa. We didn't do much there, but we went and saw one of the shops that the American Pickers have and it was pretty cool. I got to see Danielle from the show, but wasn't able to snap a pic.



We also cleaned out my cousin's rental house in Fulton, IL. The previous renter's left a bunch of their possessions in the place, but stole the fridge, cabinet drawers and doors. Cleaned pretty much everything and when we opened the stove to clean that, what do you think we found? PORN! That's right you read that right, porn. The previous renters were so hopped up on drugs that they put their porn in the oven. LOL The place is cleared from their junk and all that's left to do is clean it and repaint it. I received 3 xbox 360 games, 12 blu ray dvds, and a US Army Coat out of it.



We also went to Davenport, Iowa and went to Olive Garden and did some shopping. There's nothing much to say about that. All in all it was a pretty good week! :)
