"Are you sure you're not upset?"

"I promise," she looked at him and walked back to the bed and kissed him like it was the first time and she wanted it more than anything. When she pulled away she said, "Now, get dressed."

He did as he was told and they wandered outside their room hand in hand.



Shadow called JAde back while they waited for their breakfast."Hey sis, sorry about earlier, I was a little distracted," she explained as her and Brendon played footsie under the table. "We're out having breakfast now, how bout you guys?"

"Yeah, we just finished eating, we are headed out to wander the city."

"Maybe we should meet up later," Shadow suggested.

"Well, I'd kinda like this day, the first day of my official honeymoon, to be spent just with Ryan."

"Ok," she said, "I can understand. If you change your mind, call me."

"Ok, will do. Love you, sis."

"Love you too," Shadow replied as they disconnected.

Both couples spent the entire day together. Brendon and Shadow had gone out that night and both had a few drinks and were both pretty buzzed. Ryan and Jade kept it mellow and went to a show. They saw Jades favorite, Rent. Neither couples knew they were staying in the same hotel and they both headed back to their rooms at the same time. The lobby elevator doors closed for Brendon and Shadow just as Ryan and Jade came in from the street. Brendon and Shadow stood in the elevator hall, waiting for one to open, both kissing and hanging all over each other, his hand occasionally sliding beneath her dress. As Jade and Ryan got to the elevator hall, they saw a clumsy couple stagger into one as the doors opened, they ran to the elevator to get in, only to find Brendon feeling Shadow up. They both looked at Jade and Ryan and laughed.

"Well, well well, if it isnt the old married couple," Brendon said as Jade and Ryan entered the elevator. They both looked at Brendon and Shadow and smiled. Both couples knowing what lay ahead of them in their rooms. Brendon turned his attention back to Shadow in the corner of the elevator, he kissed her deeply, making her moan softly. making both Jade and Ryan look over at them. Brendon started kissing her neck and Shadow moaned causing Jade to giggle. Shadow glared at her, giving her the evil eye. And Jade clung to Ryan and he wrapped his arms around her to protect her from Shadows wrath. Brendon lifted Shadows leg up and held it at his side, his hand sliding up her thigh. Ryan looked at them, coughed and said "Jesus, Brendon, get a fucking room," and as soon as he said that, Brendon and Shadows floor opened and Brendon picked her up, and tossed her over his shoulder, spanking her ass and she giggled, spanking his in return.

"You're gonna get punished for that sweetheart," he said as they walked down the hall toward their room.

After their trip to New York, they went back to Brendons Vegas home. They invited the other boys and their girlfriends over for a huge pajama party. Pete from FoB was their with his girl also. Brendon threw a throw pillow at the back of Ryans head for it just as he was knocked over by a huge whack to his chest by Jon, who just looked at him with a hesitant smile, who then turned just in time to block a blow from Spencers girlfriend, but then got smacked in the face with Spencers pillow. Shadow went into a pillow waving rage and was knocking everybody, all fell to the floor laughing and Shadow, now out of breath, fell next to her sister and hugged her and Brendon said "and thats my kind of woman," and they all laughed as one of the other girls asked, "whos in the mood for movies?"



Brendon pulled out some popcorn, candies, and ice cream and the whole gang sat in front of the tv, debating about what to watch, so they all picked movies and wrote the names on pieces of paper and mixed them up, and ended up watching Sixteen Candles. No one fell asleep until about 4am.



Once it seemed that everyone was asleep, Shadow rolled over and whispered to Brendon and they raced for the stairs, Shadow nearly slipping as her socks slid across the marble tile. The next morning, they all woke up except for Brendon and Shadow, they had worn themselves out. So when everyone got up, they all helped themselves to breakfast. Pete made coffee and Jon was gonna help himself to some cereal. When he opened the refridgerator, he looked stumped and asked, "Why are there two kinds of milk. Which one am I supposed to use? Its too early to be making these kind of decisions," as he shook his head and closed the fridge. Spencer was leaning up agains the counter and looked at him and said,"Its 11'o clock. How is that too early? And there are two kinds of milks because Brendon is borderline vegan and so is Jade and the rest of us are not. One is soy and the other is not. Most likely you'll want the regular milk."

"oh, ok, its still too early to think, but i knew that," he said as he started pouring the milk. While everyone made their breakfast, Shadow rolled over and kissed Brendon as they both woke to the smell of the food in the kitchen. As they walked in the kitchen, Brendon went straight for the coffee. Pete looked at him and had a smirk on his face when he asked, "So, did u guys sleep well?" and glanced in Jades direction as a smile came across her face too, trying hard not to laugh.

Ryan whispered to her "whats that all about?" and she kissed him and whispered back, "I'll tell you later sweetie," as she nudged Shadow in the side and smiled and winked. Shadow looked at her totally confused. Brendon looked back at her with an eyebrow raised and she just shrugged her shoulders.



They all hung out that day, it would be their last day together for awhile. The boys were going on tour and Shadow had to go back to her designs and take Jade home to break the news to her mother.

"You know shes gonna kill me for this. For letting u get married."

"No, I'm the one gonna get in trouble."

"I'm going with you," Ryan said from behind us. "I want to meet your family."

Jade hugged him and said, "Of course babe. You can come home with us."

"I'm coming too," Brendon chimed in and came up behind Shadow, hugging her from behind. "I just cant stay away from this girl for too long. I dont know how Im gonna survive this tour without her," he said kissing her cheek.

Her eyes began to water and said, "Aww, Brenny. I love you," and she kissed his pouty lips. Brendon and Shadow made the perfect pair, the same way Jade and Ryan went well together. They all packed their stuff and climbed into two different cars. The girls wanted some time alone together for part of the ride home to talk about girl stuff and the guys were cool with that. Jade and Shadow got into Shadows car and they started off on the trip back to Cali. Ryan and Brendon followed shortly after in Brendons car.

"I really love Brendon. Its gonna be hard to be without him while they are on tour. By the way, what were you nudging me for this morning?"

"Oh, that," she laughed, "I'd forgotten about that, but um, last night, Pete rolled into me and then we saw you and Brendon and you guys were, um, having sex."

"Oh, haha, we thought everyone was sound asleep. Oh well, its not like he got a glimpse of anything."

"Ah, jebus sissy, u guys are like rabbits, really."

"So what. Its great. And I love him. So....anyways, how was your honeymoon? And your first time?"

"Oh my jebus did it hurt. But he calmed me down and I relaxed and...wow. Hes just so wonderful, Im the happiest Ive ever been."

"Im glad you're happy sweetie. Its about time. And I could say the same goes for myself. I still dont think your mom will be happy about the whole situation."

"Well, shes just gonna have to get used to it, I'm old enough to be making my own decisions, she cant do anything about it. She can get pissed off at me all she wants for this, I love Ryan and I'm hoping she sees that."

"I hope so too, honey. And its not so bad. You guys got married for love and she needs to respect that. And its not like you're gonna make her a grandma again anytime soon. Cuz you guys did use protection, right?"

Jade looked at her with an innocent smile and said, "Ummm, no we didnt. We just got married, why would we? And hes my husband, if i get pregnant, I'm gonna have his babies."

"Wow, Jade....wow," her eyes watered at being jealous of her little sister.

"Whats wrong sissy? Why are you crying? Whats wrong?"

Shadow wiped at her tears and said, "I dunno why I'm crying. I'm happy for you, I really am, but I'm also jealous I guess that you found happiness so fast after becoming an adult. I mean, I'm 24 and Brendon is the first real relationship I've had. I always imagined when I was younger that I'd be married already and starting a family. I just fucking finished school and barely started my fashion career, its just my life hasnt gone as I'd originally planned....I shouldnt be crying though. I'm happier than I've ever been. I just really hope it lasts. I cant be heartbroken again, I wont survive it this time if anything happens with Brendon and me. I've fallen completely this time and it scares me."

"Sis, I just wanted you to know that hes happy. Ryan has told me how Brendon has changed since he met you. That hes convinced that you're the one."

"Really? He's said that?"

"Apparently so, to Ryan. So you have no reason to be sad or worry. I dont like when youre sad," as she leaned over and hugged her sister.

Meanwhile, in Brendons car.....

"Jades gonna get pregnant."

"What? You didnt use protection or any kind of birth control?"

"No, shes my wife."

"Doesnt mean that you guys are ready for kids so soon. Jeez Ry, you guys shoulda thought it out first."

"Well we didnt. I want a family with her. What about you and Shadow?"

"What about me and Shadow?"

"Did you guys use a condom?

"No, but shes been on the pill for years. We could have been more protected but, if anything happens, we will handle it, but we arent ready for kids, not yet. Im gonna marry her, thats definite, and one day we will have kids, but not yet, man, not yet."



Both cars sat in silence for awhile until they came to a rest stop. As soon as Shadow got out of her car, she half-skipped half-ran into Brendons arms.



"Brenny, I've been thinking."



"Uh, oh, should I be worried?" he asked as he looked at JAde.



"Hey, dont look at me, I have no idea what goes on in her head sometimes," Jade responded in all honesty.

Brendon looked back at Shadow, "What is it baby? Whats been churning through that cute little head of yours?" he asked as he kissed her forehead.



"Well, I dont really think I can be away from you the entire time you're on tour. So, I'm thinking about taking my designs on the road. Maybe I can get more clientele that way too, ya know, for when the website is fully established," she started, and then leaned into his ear, "and we can have more time to get to know each other if you know what I mean," she finished with a smile.



Brendon smiled back at her and said,"that sounds like a wonderful idea," and kissed her lips again. "Now lets get something to eat and be back on our way."



Jade and Ryan held hands and they kissed and both mumbled under the kiss that they love each other.The couples sat in the restaurant and talked about what to do when we got home and had to finally tell Jades mother.



"So, Jade and I will go in the house first. We'll tell her about some of our trip and then, I'll come get you guys to come inside and then we finish up our events list and end with a small mumble of 'oh, and Jade and Ryan got married' How does that sound?"



"Sounds good to me," said Jade.



While they were going through the menu, Jade was having a hard time finding something to eat and Brendon suggested one of the salads. Both Shadow and Jade laughed, Jade had taken a sip of her soda at that same time and it almost came out her nose. Both Ryan and Brendon looked at the girls and asked, "Whats so funny?"



"Well, Jade happens to be one of those vegetarians that doesnt actually like vegetables. I know, our family is just wierd. But you guys

will get used to it."

Jade ended up ordering from the kids menu a basket of french fries and a grilled cheese sandwich. When they were finished, Shadow got into Brendons car with him and gave Ryan her car keys, so each couple got to have some private talk time together.



In Brendons car, he held her hand as they drove and they talked about the fun things they were gonna do while on tour.



"Baby, its gonna be so much fun. I'll get to teach you how to play Guitar Hero so we can have some serious competitions with the guys, once I'm through with you, we are gonna kick their asses."



Shadow smiled and said, "I cant wait. Brenny, you think you could teach me how to play the piano? Ive always wanted to learn how to play."



"Yeah, I'll teach you. What would you like to learn to play first?" he asked.



"Fur Elise by Beethoven has always been my favorite."



"Yes, that is a classic. No problem babe, youre gonna be great at it. Now, on to more pressing matters, are you aware that Ryan and your sister did not use any kind of birth control? Shes probably pregnant as we speak."



"Yeah, I know. And her excuse was that he's her husband and they shouldnt have to. Shes only 18, they arent ready for kids yet Brenny. I mean, I'm not even ready for kids yet and I'm 24."



"That was Ryans excuse too. That shes his wife. But hey, its their life. I bet if Jades mother is upset over the marraige, I bet shes gonna be ecstatic over a pregnancy."



"Shit, I know. I dont think shes thought about that yet. Oh, and if her dad is around when we get there...." she sighed, "this will be far worse than we can imagine. But hes an asshole anyways, and shes hated him for years, so much so that she doesnt refer to him as her father, but calls him by his first name. Oh, this is gonna be fun," she finished sarcastically.



"Just wait until you meet my family sweetheart. My mother is just gonna love you," he said in response and they both laughed.



"I think my parents will approve. Cuz you dont look like Charles Manson, you dont live on the other side of the country, and you make me happy, so, im sure they'll approve of you."



"Charles Manson?" he asked with a strange look on his face.



She looked back at him and laughed. "Yeah, they didnt like the first guy I brought home, they thought he looked like Charles Manson and was gonna kill us all in our sleep," she explained and laughed again. "dont worry sweetie. They will like you for sure, its only your family that we're gonna have problems with honey."

Brendon and Shadow continued their trip with funny stories or best childhood memories.



Meanwhile, Jade and Ryan were in their car together discussing their future. Jade started, "I think im gonna get pregnant. We didnt use any protection. Shadow is upset with me. She doesnt think we're ready if that happened. I'm not sure we are either, I'm only 18, but I'm happy to be your wife and I'm ready to start anything, cuz I love you," she said as she held his hand and brought it to her lips.



Ryan responded with, "I love you too baby. Brendon said the same thing to me. They care about us is all. But I'm ready for anything sweetheart. You are my wife, my love, my life and I would love for you to have my children."

She leaned over and kissed him and they continued their trip home hand in hand.



Brendon and Shadow pulled up into the driveway first and Jade and Ryan followed soon after. Shadow gave Brendon a kiss and told the boys to wait outside for the time being. Jade kissed Ryan and he wished her luck. Shadow took Jade by the hand and both took a deep breath before they headed to the front door. They walked inside and Lene greeted both of

them with warm hugs and asked how their trip was. They all sat down and the girls told her every part of their trip and then added at the end that they some guys and fell in love. Thats when Shadow walked outside and called to the boys and they came in the house only to see Lene's jaw drop like she couldnt believe what she was seeing. The boys sat down next to their girls and they added to the rest of their story. Then, at the end, Shadow faked a cough and added that Jade and Ryan got married and quickly added another line to cover it up, hoping Lene wouldnt have heard it, but she did.



"She what?!" she shouted as she stood up and looked at Jade and Ryan. Then she looked back at Shadow and gave a horrible glare,"How could you let her do this?"



"First of all, shes 18 and can make her own decisions and second of all, I had no idea until I get back to the hotel room with a letter left from her. They are in love. They truly are. So, I'm not against it at all. And its their life Lene, if they are happy, then let them live it," Shadow responded defensively.



Lene shook her head, obviously still upset over the situation. "Just wait until Doug hears about this."



Shadow looked at Jade and she was speechless. Shadow stood up and told Lene straight up, "Lene, you know I love you like a second mom, but really, Doug can stay out of this. She's a legal adult and made her own decision about her life and you guys have absolutely no say in it anymore. We knew you were going to be upset, but thats too bad. Because she is the happiest I have ever seen her and you should be happy for her. But we are here now and came to pack up her stuff. She's married now and will be living with her husband. So really, just get over it. And if you bring Doug into this, I will seriously tell him to fuck off. She is happy and I mean truly happy for the first time in her life. We dont need Doug coming in here and telling her how she was wasting her life or that she's a failure or any other kind of bullshit that he has fed her throughout the years. Jade, honey," she said calmly as she turned to her sister, "lets start packing your stuff." and they headed to her bedroom. After about an hour of going through things to be taken with her, they left with numerous boxes and suitcases full of Jade's things.



Ryan was the last to walk out the door after everyone said their goodbyes, and Ryan turned to Lene and said, "I really do love her. I will take good care of her. I promise," as he looked back at her tear-stained face.



"Don't you dare hurt her, Ryan. Shes my baby girl."



"I wont," he promised as he set down the bags and gave her a hug before he walked out the door. The girls were on the road to the rest of their lives and both happier than ever. They now headed to Shadows apartment to pack some of her things and tell her landlord she was going to be gone for a little while.



After all their stuff was packed, they all drove back in Brendons car to meet up with Spencer and Jon. When they were packing their bags onto the bus, Jon looked confused. "Um, theres only 4 bunks, I think we need another bus, cuz where are the girls supposed to sleep?"



Spencer came up behind him and was shaking his head. "Jon, I'm pretty sure the girls will be staying in Brendons and Ryans bunks."



"Oh. Ok, but where will Brendon and Ryan sleep?"



"I meant in their bunks, with them. You know, two people in the same bed?"



Jon started laughing, "Haha," he laughed. "Bunks are kinda small, its gonna suck to be sleeping so close," he finished as Brendon walked by and said, "Who said anything about sleeping?" as he winked at Jon and then turned around and hugged Shadow from behind, kissing her neck making her giggle and turn around and kiss him over and over. Jon suddenly had a look on his face like he finally understood what Brendon meant and then had a look of jealousy.



"Well I wish my girlfriend could come along on tour with us. Damn, we better not hear anything!" he shouted after Brendon and Shadow as they snuck away for more privacy before they had to leave.



For the next three months, the six of them travelled the u.s. together, having fun playing video games, skateboarding in mall parking lots, going to the movies and out to dinner. JAde did miss her period and it came back positve for her being pregnant. She was a nervous wreck, but Ryan was there with her and for her every step of the way.



When the tour was finished, Brendon and Shadow went back to California to spend time in her apartment. She took him to all her favorite places and they spent numerous evenings out on her balcony just lounging and staring at the stars. Eventually she took him home to meet her parents. She was so happy that they liked him. They were together for a total of six months before he proposed to her. He took her out dancing and to her favorite restaurant. As they walked hand in hand through the city, Brendon bought a single red rose from a streetside merchant and handed it to her, she loved roses and she smiled and kissed him tenderly on the lips. They stopped in front of a huge plaza fountain as Shadow enjoyed the twinkling effect of the lights on the water. So, he got to one knee before she turned around, and when she did, her heart melted.



"Shadow, you have been the most wonderful addition to my world in such a long time. I love every aspect about you. I love the way your lips are aways so soft and kissable. I love the way you crunch your nose when you laugh at something silly, I love the way you stand up for what you believe in and the way you live your life outside of the ordinary. You are so unique in every feature and you complete my world. I would be the happiest guy in the world if you would be my wife. Shadow, will you marry me?"



Shadows eyes watered as she looked down at Brendon holding out the black passion ring she'd looked at months before she even met him. She knew that he knew her well. "Of course Brendon. I love you so much," she said as he slipped the ring on her finger and stood up to take her into his embrace. They held each other close as they made it back to her apartment to celebrate the big step in their relationship. Brendon kissed her hand as he led her to the bedroom. Their kisses warm and sweet on each others lips. Brendon reached behind her and unzipped her dress, letting it slide to the floor. His jacket and pants soon followed as their hands caressed each others skin. Her touch was soft and feather-like as her fingertips ran up and down his arms. His lips soft and tender as they kissed her neck and held her close to him. He took her to bed and they made love like never before. Holding hands the entire time as their bodies entwined in the sheets.



Shadow woke the next morning with a huge smile on her face and plans in her head. She felt Brendond body spooning against her, their hand still entwined in one another as his arm draped over her side.



She rolled over and kissed him good morning admiring her new ring int he process. They were the happiest they could be at the moment.

Meanwhile, back in Las Vegas, Jade and Ryan were living together and Jade was six months pregnant.



Three months later, Shadow and Brendon were relaxing at his house, they had just gotten back from being on a mini tour a few days prior. The couple was curled up on the couch watching Labyrinth when all of a sudden the phone rang.

"Hello?" Shadow aswered the call, hearing a lot of background noise.

"Shadow, its Ryan. Jades going into labor. We just got to the hospital. She wants you here."

"Ok, we'll be there soon," she responded as she hung up the phone and turned to Brendon. "Jades having the baby."

Brendon grabbed the car keys and they were out the door in a matter of seconds.

The waiting room was chaos. Little kids running and screaming, playing with their toys. Luckily, Jade wanted both of them in the room, so they didnt have to stay waiting in madness. Jades face was bright red when they walked in. She'd been pushing really hard, this baby wanted out and it wanted out NOW. Ryans hand was purple as Jade squeezed it so tightly. She took a breather when she saw them. They embraced in quick hugs . Shadow took her other hand and shared Ryans pain.

Twenty-five minutes later, Jades womb was emptied and out came a 7lb 8oz baby boy.

"I'm going to name him Riley Michael. And Shadow, Brendon, we want you to be his godparents."

"We'd love to," Brendon replied as Shadow hugged her sister and her eyes filled with tears. They soon left the hospital to let them both get some rest.

During the next six months, bot couples were very busy. The boys had to go back into the studio an start recording some new music, while Jade was busy being a new mom and Shadow was busy plannig her wedding.



October 31st came pretty quickly. Their busy lives made time go by alot faster. That day had to be perfect. Shadow was stressing like no other. She slept until about 9am and woke up to find all the bridesmaids waiting downstairs. brendon had stayed with Ryan and the rest of the guys. The girls were already doing their makeup even though the ceremony wasnt until 7pm. They just couldnt wait. They all had breakfast waiting for them in the kitchen. A helathy fruit salad with granola and some yogurt for some parfaits. Shadow avoided the yogurt and ate some fruit. As soon as she was dressed in a pair of comfortabl pants and a comfortable shirt, they all left for their hair appointments. Shadow wanted vintage pinup styles for everyone. Hers was the last to be completed as hers was much more elaborate and needed room for her veil. her viel was a black pill-box hat with french netting covering her face. she kept it folded back for the day as her makeup was applied. She pulled her dress from the drycleaning bag and admired it in the mirror. First, she put on her strapless black satin corset and thin lace panties. Her corset attached to her stockings at the top, she slipped on her red garter. She sat at the edge of the bed as she slipped into her t-strap heels and buckled them in place. her dress went over her head as she noticed Jade walk in the room to help her zip up. That evening, friends and family gathered under the stars on a clear night. The gardens had been decoreated with white lights and white roses. Brendon stood at the end of the aisle wearing his black suit with his bergundy tie and red rose at his lapel. the traditional music cued up and te bridesmaids began their walk down the aisle in their crimson red, floor length dresses, walking arm in arm with the groomsmen wearing their black suits with their white ties and white rose lapels. As Jade walked down the aisle with Ryan, her white roses in hand, Shadow took a deep breath and began her stride soon after, her bouquet of red and black roses in hand and her father at her side. Brendons face lit up wen he saw her. her beauty and elegance radiated through the crowd. Shadows father was getting teary eyed as he handed his daughters hand over to the man she loved. Strawberries, breadsticks, pretzels, cherries. It was a huge hit. the cake was a towering three layers, the top piece was adorned with a gothic bride and groom. It was frosted in a hard coat of white chocolate. Strawberries lining the base. The inside was rich chocolate marble cake with a strawerry filling.



Everyone enjoyed their food and it was now time for the bride and grooms first dance. "Everything" by Lifehouse blared over the speakers and the couple shared a romantic dance alone on the dance floor. Following that, Shadow had her dance with ehr father, both getting teary eyes as they danced to the country song "I Love Her First". Everyone enjoyed their evening as the couple left the reception to be able to gatch their flight to Ireland.



When they arrived, they went straight to their hotel room, where Brendon carried her over the threshold and kissed her sweetly.
