There was an enormous lake. On one part of the lake shore was a huge tree, surrounded by other huge trees making up a lush, green forest spanning the horizon as far as the eye could see. At the base of this tree, between it and the lake shore, was a very large mound, fifteen feet round and ten feet tall in the middle, entirely void of plant life. There were not any creatures within a several yard radius, even though creatures of all sorts were coming and going in and out of the forest and the water. Suddenly the creatures nearest the mound stopped. The top of the mound was starting to crumble. Slowly, the top part of the mound crumbled down the side and soon a large hand came up through the top. An arm slowly followed till after some time a humanoid giant male figure had wholly emerged, standing thirteen feet tall. Covered in dirt, the giant turned its head slowly from side to side taking in its surroundings. It finally looked at the lake. Even though it had no idea what water was, it stepped forward, falling down the mound of dirt. It lay there, not moving.
He got up and was facing the water. An instinct told him to walk into the water, so he did, disappearing under it. Minutes later, he emerged, a bit cleaner, walk out of the water and stood in the sun, drying off. He turned his head slightly, looking to the right. He turnedand walked to the edge of the tre line, then entered the forest. As he walked, branches would be pushed aside with his body, his arms yet to come up and push the branches out of the way. After awhilw, if one could lookin his eyes, a glimmer might been seen there and a certain instinct took over, he being using his hands and arms to push aside the branches.
After awhle, he broke through the tresand came to a clearing. In this clearing he saa huge object just yards from him. Not knowing waht it was he approached it. it moved and enguled himin itys mouth. It lay still again. It started writhing and schreeching! Then its sides split open and the giant tore his way out. The giant continued walking, covered in the creatures guts.
Walking further on through the trees, the branches scraping guts off as he pushed through, he came out next to a small lake, he walked into the lake and disappeared under the water. He soon emerged, a bit more cleaner, and continued his walk in the same direction.
Hw walked for hours hours till he came to another large body of water. The difference here was that a small island protrued up out of the water just yards off the shore oh which a large stone hut rests. Instinct took over agian, he walked into the water and began to swim, not understanding how, but, knew he could.
Reaching the island, he walked ashore and stood in front of the stone hut. It sttod fifteen fet tal and had two metal doors at the entrance. He reached for the handles and pulled. The doors came off thre hinges due to his strength. He entered in to the dark interior.
As he entered through the door, he felt something cross his feet, he looked down and saw a cord across his feet, broken. He heard apop and looked up, a mall flame was running down a trough providing firelight, he couls see stairs going down. He started down the stairs andwalked severalsteps before he looked over the railing down intothe deep, dark, staitwell below, which became lighter as the fire followed the trough downward. Walking down, he began a long trip to.....
The wall was to his right, the railing to his left. Once he looked over the rail, looking down as far as the oil light carried, but, it got black in the center the deeper it went. Soon he came to a door in the wall at a small landing. He reached for the door handle and ripped it off with his strength. The door became ajar. A smell came from inside. He pushed opened the door and saw foliage of various size and colors. Further in he saw trees with fruits growing. A noise drew his attention to his right. There he saw a small waterfall coming from high on the wall through an opening. Apparently the water kept the plants growing. He stepped further in, something drawing him in. He walked over to a tree and plucked off afruit and put it in his mouth. He began to chew and the swallowed, the juice going down his throat and dribbling through his lips. He ate more. Finally, after getting his belly full, he sat down under a tree and fell asleep. After a long sleep, he awoke, got upand drank his fill of water, then walked out of the room to continue his journey downward.
The ever burning oil lead the way down as he kept walking. He stopped at one point on the stairs, a part of the wall had collasped and exposed a room full of lots of different items, some very shiny. He walked in the room and picked up one of them. It shown blood red. He tossed it aside and it broke on the wall. He picked up othe shiny things, diamonds, rubies, pearls, sapphires, and watched them shatter as he threw them against the wall.
He finally stopped cause he lost imterest. Going back out and continuing down the stairs he came to a wooden door that had fallen onto the stairs. He stopped and looked in the dark room. As he looked inside, he herd a cracking sound. In front of him in the room, the far wall collasped and revealed alighted room.he walked to the room and looked in. What he saw were lots of trees with things growing from them like the ones he had eaten before. He began wandering the trees picking things off the trees and eating them. He stoped when he heard a noise he had heard before. He followed the noise and saw another waterfall. He knew he wanted to drink and he did. When he finished he looked around. He became confused. He didn't know from which way he came. He was lost in the trees. after wandering through the forest for awhile, he finally came to a wall. Randomlly he picked a direction and started following the wall. He soon came to a cave entrane. He entered.
In the cave he found bones. Skulls, arms, legs, lots of bones. As he wandered the darkness, something jumped on him and he reached for it where it had landed on him. In the darkness there were growlings and snarlings. Soon two bodies crashed down a small hill. The walls glowed from natural phosfurous. He got up andsaw the ded thing that attacked him. a small fury creature with long claws. He was bleeding from several places. He turnec and started walking. He walked awhile and as he turned around a large boulder, he came to a pond. he walked in the water to wash off. He knew he needed to.
After washing off, he walked out of the pond and walked in a straight path, pushing through the trees and brush. He soon came up on a clearing where a huge pyramind had been built. He walked up to it and saw steps leading down. He stepped in. There were only a few steps to walk, then he found himself in a chamber glowing with light. In this chamber was a long table, at which was seated thirteen skeltons. Each skelton wore some kind of old, rotted cloth, like clothes that dissolved with age. The room was ladened with sheilds and swords. As he walked by them, he didn't notice one turn its head and following him with very hollow eyes. He walked to the back wall where a scene was painted. It was of warriors with shields and swords in battle. Ashe looked at the painting,he heard rattling and clanging behind him. He turned and saw all thirteen skeletons standing, each with a sword and shield. Instinct kicked in and he picked up a sword and shield. The skeletons charged, screaming. He swung the sword and decapitated three skulls while warding off two sword blows. That left ten. He swung both shield and sword till all the skeletons were down. He had sustained a couple of wounds, but, they weren't life threatning. He dropped his weapons and sank down by the wall. He slept.
when he awoke, he barely heard a sound he had heard before. He stood up and turned to the wall, the sound seemed to be on the other side. He pounded with his fists, but, nothing happened. He looked to one side and saw what looked like a sword handle, but, with a huge ball on the end. He somhow knew to pick it up and use it. In minutes he had broke open the wall and saw a rushing stream of water and fruits he ha eaten before. He stepped through.
Stepping through, he neared the stream of water and knelt down to drink. Stopping in mid drink he heard a rustling behind him and turned to find a small creature looking at him. The creature squeaked and ran back into the nearby trees. He stood to follow, pluckingfruit off the trees as he went.
