I'm one glance away from you
One shy image from declining
I fall back into our memory,
A midstream rock skipped across a bed of water.
My heart beats, as still as a calm puddle
In a half glance, I spring back another second
Altering my body into a dance, one of nervous frenzy
I re-teach myself how to breathe
one. two. three.
meditation to ease the analyzing
Overwhelmed with non-communication of emotions
All I can brainstorm in severe thunderstorms is
Your impact on every fragile chord of my voice
Unsurpassed thoughts of you in a simple moment
Just you, an image, a ray of pulsating light
Standing in the timid wind
A circle of never-ending contemplation
I reflect in a memory soaked to the skin throught scattered mist
You remind me of a rewound cassette
Constantly I admire your talent
You stroke your guitar and fly away through your song
Your calming laughter and unprocessed confusion sets
Just as the sun along the stream of a lake
I know we have spoken through forests of trees
They echoed silently through our ears
Brushing against us as we walked along the lake
Did you hear the drops of dew falling from the trees?
As they hit the ground,
I listened to every form of musical brilliance
I could imagine every note as they formed in your mind
They absorbed into mine as well
In your boxed-white shelter-
I imagine you secretly enjoying the rain
Nestling in your imagination, truth of the outside reality
I know you want to liberate our common myths of fright
However, when the autumn arises and the leaves pass through the wind
Security of closed off walls of anguish is easier to escape
I do not place blame upon you for protecting your fields
Meadows of wildflowers naturally taking coarse
Can only wish to explore freedom of land and open opportunities
Please, do not regret the cycle of nature
The timing of spoken glances never fades into a darkened cloud
The sky is always lit up by security of stars sharing their energy
Myself representing whispering promises of the North Star
