" no," she said, "you came here to kill me, so do it." daniel didnt move, then he stepped forward, right past her, and into the night, he felt her tense as he passed and smiled to himself. he turned to face her and said "youre right. i am just like you, but so is everyone else, we would all do anything to survive, we all tell ourselves its for the best, we all think were immortal, invincible, im just here to remind some people that were not." and with that he left keeping to the shadows, just as the sun came up over the horizon.
