After all that work on my class on saving the caribou, I go on WOW and what do I have to kill but caribou. I had to shut the sound off. That didn't work , I abandoned the mission. I couldn't do it.
So I posted my reflection for today. Next one is Sunday. I'm tired but glad that I'm doing this. Earning these 6 credits and 2 in the fall will bring me up to the next pay level. It will all work out when I retire. More money. Don't want to be broke ass. Want to enjoy my retirement. Steve is selling a lot of his stuff. I don't want to have to do that.
Next assignment for class is a journal. Doing one on the construction in my neighborhood. Good for journal writing, bad for the environment. What a mess, between the oil spill and water main break. Got some great shots for the power point.
Summer classes have been keeping me busy. One is online for habitats and the other is 1st week of Aug. at the zoo. Six credits short of my 30 above . With taking care of dad and all those foot surgeries, this was the perfect time. Enjoying but a hell of a lot of work.
Thinking of doing a Shadow page with stories about the strange things that our crazy, beloved cat would do. To keep her memory alive. We have member pages on the girls and Woody. Maybe it's time for the kitties! Call it The Shadow Knows!
My old girl, Shadow, passed today after 23 years of life. A good life for a cat. She mommied all the doggies. Matt fed her with a baby bottle. I hope she is with dad. That was his girl too. At 23 i thought she was immortal.

She sounds sweet. I'd loveto see a picture of her!
(I recently lost one of my fave cats - Whiskers - back in March. He was 11.5 years old. I miss him so much)...!
It's tough to loose an old friend.
I remember all my parrots that have passed on. They were all good birds and true friends. I miss each and every one of them...
