Had a great time. The food was surprisingly good. So far I haven't had my stomach pumped. Got to see some good friends.That strange Star Trek couple were making out as usual. Paul was his usual evil self. Can't wait to post the pics.

Everytime I'm off on vacation, I'm sick. Everyday when they principal comes on to do the pledge, he says winners come to school every day. Well, they do with running noses, coughing up a lung, measles, ringworm, lice, you name it. I always get it. I now have a killer sore throat and swollen glands. Lovely, nice way to spend days off!

I find it amazing that with these budget cuts for the BOE, that they want to cut teachers and some necessary personnel. How about cutting out some of these extra programs with useless people, doing nothing. We are paying these people for doing nothing. I have had subs come in that did nothing.They sat in my chair more in one day than I have all year. I barely get to sit for 10 min. all day. I'm lucky to eat. Then there's the rubber room where teachers who have charges against them, sit in an office, while the case is pending, getting a salary. Not to mention friends of friends that are brought in on the payroll. With the teacher cuts they are talking about, there will be less teachers and bigger classes. Just what we need!

The parent from my class that his family and friends and the Sanitation workers who donated to Donor's Choose for my play table and chairs for housekeeping met me outside of school to tell me only $26 more till I am funded. "By Monday you'll have your furniture". What an angel, I swear. Angels do exist.

The art teacher came back after her sty was cleaned up. She was upset that her trash was thrown out. She bought in more dirty bottles and legos she found in the street. Ask me if I wanted them. NO THANKS. After 1 day back, she left dirty paper towels in the now filthy sink. Come on, throw away your garbage. I'm messy at times but she's like a homeless person
