It was morning.

Not sun up and shinning.

But the AM when only the freaks were still about.

She looked out the window

hoping something good would happen to day



She looked down at the guy sleeping away the sex they just had

the smell of his room wanted to make her gag (the smell of sex and newfound glory)

she pulled back her hair

put her clothes back on

and left the guy sleeping.

driving away nothing different

she would stay the night

but know he wouldn't care

for some one night stand girl

she knows how's it goes she done this before.



she pulls up to her house its about 3 AM

the porch light off

"guess they forgot it" she says sadden

as she got out of her car to deafening quite

she went to open the door but it was locked

and she not having a key

goes to her bed room window

to get back in (the same way she got out)



She fell on her bed

and all the thoughts came rushing to her

"how could they forget or even not noticed their only daughter isn't home?....... Or is it they want me out?" she holds back the tears

she could cry her self to sleep

but she wouldn't dare



she only sleep for about 4 hours

dressed by dawn to get to her job

that her parents don't know about

her working at a 24 hours dinner

that she got after dropping out of school



She moves quite as a mouse there no light

or need for one she memorized

the floor so she could leave

with out being detected



she works at the dinner till 3 in uniform

when is slow at the dinner

she look through fashion magazines

no one knows

but she want to be a model

she asked Debbie

whose worked with her since she first got her job



Debbie divorced and trying to keep rent up for her kids

she looks at her big hair bounced as she talk

"honey there's no way you could, you know how the modeling biz goes"

Debbie took a drag from her cig and say

"takes these to table 3 IM off for the rest of the day bobby's got a school play I got to get to"



she took the try of water to table 3 as Debbie left

there was 4 boys sitting there

then she got to thinking

about how she never got a boy friend

only one night stands

she starts to imagine the perfect one

she dreams that he'll come by the dinner

on her break so they could make out and talk

she prays for day when boys mean she protected



Like in all the old movies

where a girl in trouble

and the guy comes to save her, pick her up off her feet

and walk away in to the sunset



She set the drinks down

and asked for their orders

but they said they were waiting for one more

so she left to let them socialize



she went into the back room

and looks in the mirror

her big beautiful brown eyes

lined in black eye liner and black shadow

held her emotions witch were mostly sad

her dark brown hair that is untenable but some how it worked for her

and her pale white skin

then she looked down at her body

she was a X-L girl in an XX-S world

she wanted to throw up

but knew she couldn't bring herself to do so

"I know IM beautiful just need some one else to think so too "

she says to herself as her eyes swell with tears



she heard a bell ring

she pushes back her tears and

make her way out of the back room

where one of the boys was at the counter

"were ready to order"

he said it so nice

'wow he has beautiful blue eyes' she thought

"just let me get my-" she sniffed from the tears "pencil"

he walked back over to his friends and she got her pencil

"what will it be?" she asked

she took all there orders

and took the orders back to the cooked



there was no one else in the dinner to wait on

so she took out her fashion magazine

and started reading

she some times looks up at the boys

they were talking

but she kept on seeing the one

that rang the bell looking at her then look away

his blond hair was on a 3 SEC delay

as his head turned away from her

she didn't know if there was something wrong

or if it was checking her out

she really hoped it was the2Ed one



But all those harsh word from her "friends" and family

came rushing back to her

"don't kid your self"

"he was probably looking at me. or something behind you"

"your not his type, your too fat"

"lose anther 30 pounds then maybe"

more tears started to come but she refused to get any out

the bell rang again and she went and gave the boys there food



and when it came to the cheek they all left but one stayed to pay

the one w/ the amazing blue eyes and 3 SEC delay hair

"you know I come her every day" he said as he took money out of his wallet

"uh huh" she said as she took it

"and you know what?"

she looked at him as she gave him his change

"you are beautiful"
