Let the cold, crisp air
Approach
And wrap its arms around my body
Slowly engulfing me in a state of nothingness.
Chilling the bones
And capturing every breath
Making my blood glass.
Freezing me,
Capturing me
Like a sculpture.
Frozen in time,
Don't let the cold release its grip
Not even the slightest bit of daylight
Can break through the sheet of ice
That folds its self so close
To my mind and body.
The cold that I feel
Deep, deep within my body
That makes my heart stop beating.
Take me away
Into the world of the cold
And slowly loosen your grip
Letting me fall frail onto a feild of ice crystals.
You seem to me to be
More vulnerable than what you portray.
We fight
And we argue,
But still you want to fix the broken.
What if nothing is broken though?
If things are already in the place
That they were meant to be.
I like to play things safe,
But you'd rather dive in head first.
I don't want to get hurt though
And just take things a step at a time.
I'm not trying
To pick and fight.
I'm only trying
To find what is right.
What will make us happy.
Backing away doesn't solve many things
And you deserve to be happy
Just as much as anyone.
Don't let this be a fall
For you.
Take it.
Make it an experience.
Learn from it.
That's what life is for anyways.
