I try to find the words swimming in my head

One of my friends has been very sad and lonely lately.

She thinks her friends have left her.

She thinks no one cares

She thinks people do not need her

But she is very wrong

People do need her

People want her

People do care for her

I am one of those people

Although I cannot see her I do know her

Her green eyes

Her tall slender figure

Her beautiful smile

I like to make her smile

And even though I cannot see her smile

I know that she does

I show her things that she has been missing

I talk to her about things that are trapped in her mind

I know that she was having problems with her life and I did help her

And although she still is pulled into that dark place every now and again

I gladly join her

To show her that she is not alone
