What if Jesus was a total liar?



What if Jesus wasn't the son of God? What if he just had extremely honed manipulative skills? He convinced people that he could do miracles and they saw what they wanted. If he tricked people into writing for him and spreading -his- words as God's? And then maybe the Romans found him out and crucified him because he was a potentially dangerous cult leader? And he had his followers so wrapped up in his shit that they went on to call him the son of God even after he died?



And his resurrection? What if it was just merely a man who resembled him? Prehaps he never rose, his followers just spread the story to re-affirm the blasphemic beliefs he created.



What if Jesus was nothing more than a bold faced liar?



That is, of course, assuming there is a "God."
