Entry 1

I suppose I have always been a rather bizarre and vivid dreamer, but it seems as though lately I have been able to remember them much more. I usually lose memory of my dreams within 6-24 hours of waking up from them. But, lately I have been able to remember them for a few days, extending into a week or two.

Last night I had an odd dream that the details are a bit fuzzy of, but I still recall the gist.
It started with me waking up on a wooden dining table in a grand hall. The walls were all made of beautiful marble and the candles that served as the only light source added to the ambiance. I was wearing some kind of black, velvety Victorian dress, so I assumed this dream took place during this time period. The dress was very flamboyant and elegant. Remembering it makes me wish I actually had it here in real life lol. Anyways, back to the dream.

I got up from the table and ran out of the room and threw the towering door open with such ferocity that I was briefly dumbfounded by my sudden force. There was this enormous, pitch black hallway that I began running through. It kind of reminded me of the inside of the Notre Dame if you have ever seen it. But there were almost no windows and almost no light. The next thing I realize I am on a balcony of sorts. There is a soft breeze in the air and it was warm out. The night sky was blood red and the moon was just a black void in the sky, yet somehow the stars were sparkling beautifully in the heavens above. They almost looked so close that I could touch them.

I then started to float but my stomach felt like it was in free fall. It was the feeling like when you are coming straight down at top speed on a roller coaster. I just kept floating up and up. I think I was reaching to touch one of the stars, but before I knew it I felt like I was swallowed by something. I was suddenly in a freezing cold, dark place. I was surrounded by endless, inky blackness and I felt like my feet were stuck in tar. I was overcome by a horrible constricting feeling, like I almost couldn't breathe. I could feel a gnarly, bony hand slowly, yet painfully grab my arm. The grip began to tighten so much that I though my arm would break.

And just like that my dream came to an end and I was awake in my bed again.

Does anyone have any thoughts on what the meaning of this dream could be?

From what I know: Nice dress is happiness brought by someone that likes to work. Wooden table is related to your digestion problems. The flight means honor and black means trouble.
