Shallow grave of a lover dying in her pain, as I wash away in rain. No longer we dance as the moon rays lance, forbidden love of the blood red dove but live you must, I'll have fled by dawn, the passion will never be gone. Remember him, the holder of the hearts.

Glistening wet fiery eyes
blanketed by hidden lies.
Sitting sad alone and broken
from when he took my heart a token.
Drowning sorrow wasting me away
all because he refused to stay,
leaving me in a darkened corner
passing strangers glancing mourner.
Warmness spreading
like a golden threading,
as an unknown man appears,
relinquishing the lonely tears.
Savior with a silver shine
gentle voice and a touch devine,
wishing begging he'll be mine.
To love on the days so bright,
and hold on the nights so cold.
