They are a peanut butter taffy type candy. My grandma always got them for me. I love getting them every damn year for Halloween. I'm going to get like three bags on Monday if I have the money and they are on sale!

I've never had the patience to make it from scratch. It's one of those things I tried that someone else made and like I said, it tasted funny at first but in all reality, it was pretty yummy.
