Some days, I just sit back and watch the world,

I wonder what life would be like without its constant battles,

In a world where children don't die,

I know people who barely make it paycheck to paycheck,

Who always worry if they're gonna be able to eat,

Or even make it to point A or point B.

Their kids get sick and they can't pay the bills,

Cuz they gotta get their kids medicine and pills.



Then there's the people who just piss their life away,

With cheap booze and a few lines of cocaine.

They were raised with the best intentions,

They never really needed any correction,

But see they were handed everything on a silver platter,

They don't know what to do in a disaster.

Our mother always had a psychotic new boyfriend,

A real piece of work who couldn't keep his hands to himself,

I came into this world many years ago. I vaguely remember the people from my past. If I die in one form, I am reborn again. I know who I was, but only slightly. I am free, though.
