His walk slow, his breathing even, the sunglasses he currently had on, sparkled with a hint of blue that ran like veins of saphire through pools of oil.

The sun was cloaked in clouds of gray and black a cool breeze shifting easiler through the streets of the small southern town. Each house had closed its shutters and the once lively neborhood now lay quietly in wait for the fall rain that was soon to follow.

The only noise beside the wind was the rustle of the strangers dark jeans, and leather jacket. He stopped in front of an old house, torn and worn by the seasons and the weather they brought, consumed by veins that no longer bore roses of red and white.

Looking up from under his glasses and gave a slight smile. As he climbed the steps of the rotting porch a soft patter of rain began.

Once more the street was left in the silence of rain and the chill of an autumn breeze.
