Haha.
I'm making my mother watch Frozen for the first time. So far, she's not impressed. I don't know how anyone could not instantly fall in love with this movie.

I did and I am an old woman, lol. My daughter also loved it. Our thoughts on this movie - Prince Charming doesn't save the princess, she saves herself. That is what my daughter loved about it the most. She is 15 and says it is the first time Disney made a princess movie showing that a girl doesn't need a guy to save her that she has the power to do it herself.
Not the first, Brave also showed that the princess didn't need a man to fix her problems. As does Mulan, who goes to serve the Empire in her father's place and winds up saving China because she's awesome as fuck, and Tangled, where the tables are actually turned and Rapunzel is the one who saves her love interest, And, as far as the story goes, I do prefer Brave over Frozen, simply because the bond between mother and daughter, it's something I cherish with my mom. I don't have a sister, so I can't really relate to the characters of Frozen on that level. But, I simply adore Frozen, it's an amazing film with wonderful voice acting, story, and animation. I love the focus on the family bond over some guy or girl you only recently met. But it isn't the first Disney movie to go down that line. Just another fantastic film in a long line of fantastic films.
Never saw Frozen. I'll save you the trouble of telling me and assume you think I should watch it. :D
The Tesla Model S I want would cost me around $114,000. So I guess I should start playing the lotto and hope I win, because there is no way in hell I would be able to afford a one hundred thousand dollar car otherwise.
I've decided, my new dream car is no longer my Ducati Monster 696, it's the Tesla Model S. I want one. I want one so bad.

Dude, my old band director got one and it just makes me drool, man.
I would love to get one, but those bad boys are expensive as fuck. Though, Tesla put out that they are going to have a more affordable model out in the next few years. So there is still hope.
Last week was not at all good. But, that simply means I can push myself to make this week great. I feel like I'm off to a great start.
Like I said in the entry before, my mom and I went to the Getty Villa today, just to hang out. It was a lot of fun. I didn't really take any new pictures, I've photographed it all before, and what I would have loved to photograph, I couldn't. So, yeah. I did snap a few on my phone of just me and my mom. It was nice. I like the first one best.
I'm heading out to spend the day at the Getty Villa tomorrow with my mom. An early Mother's Day present. It's not much, as it costs nothing to visit, save for parking, but, it's quality time bonding over ancient Roman and Greek artwork. Something both of us are really into. So, it'll be nice to spend the day there, just us. It's bound to be gorgeous as well, it's not too hot or cold, just perfect really. I'm sure the view of the ocean across PCH is going to be just lovely. So yeah. I may take pictures, but, considering how many times I've been there and how many pictures I have taken, I may not want to this time around. The building never changes, simply the main exhibitions, and you can't photograph those, so it may be pointless to get the same shots I got when I went there last October. But, as I love the water lilies in the fountains, I probably will snap a few photos.
I would have taken her to the Huntington Library, as she enjoys it there and there's more to see, but they are still doing construction on new buildings and such. The last time we went it wasn't at all fun, since the noise was annoying and some of the buildings were closed. Plus, you couldn't get a decent picture in the Chinese Garden without having the construction crews in the background. So, that's one that will have to wait until next year when they finish what they're doing. Also, they upped their prices to get in, which just completely sucks.
While it was by no means a secret, now it is absolutely official. And I'm happy.
Sometimes asking questions gets you answers you really wish you hadn't heard.
Fuck.
I have been watching the original three Star Wars movies, because today is May 4th, and well, May the Fourth be with you. And all that fun stuff. I am debating if I should watch the other three movies, but, I'm thinking no. Those are torture to sit through.
One of these days they're going to come back and it will be glorious. Until then, it's the same old thing.

the dude who said that... is so lame. >.> lol
He's nerdy, therefore he's the best kind of dude around. :]
I can't believe I had a dream about him. Of all the things to dream about, and all the people I could have had in said dream, why did it have to be him? I feel disgusting.
Three months to go. Well, three months and ten days. I'm amped.
I'm pretty sure my mind is out to sabotage any happiness I may find.
