In my dreams I hear you calling my name
What is it about you
That keeps me so mesmerized?

But I am unafraid.
Wrapped in this sweet surrender
My soul unravels
I have become your willing prisoner, for I
now hold myself captive to you.
The mortal life I had before you

He floats into my room like a languid dream,
His powerful arms encircle me and hold me close.
His kiss is that of passion, deep, biting and eternal,
His tenderness captured my heart,
His savagery my soul,
His touch claimed my body,
His heart won my love.
What magical powers does he hold?
I lie with him in the darkness.
What sleep is here,
Inside these immortal souls?
Like a dream filled night
That was sketched amongst the stars,
We dance our immortal waltz in the moonlight.

I found a secluded place
Down by the sea
Waves of sapphire blue
That turn to deep black at night
The soft white sand
Warm from the sun
But so cool at night
The sound of my heart racing
Drowned out by crashing waves
Silently waiting
Will you come?
I walk along the shoreline
I’ve never felt so alone
Pleading thoughts
Amongst my daydreams
Begging for you to take me away
How I miss you in these darker moments
Waiting not so patiently
Longing for this mortal life to end
My soul yearns for your return
To feel the touch of your lips against mine
Longing to feel your nails raking my skin
As you sink your teeth into my chest
The pain you give is pure pleasure
Take me as yours
Oh How I miss you,
In these dark deafening moments.
Then when I think all is forgotten
You appear in the pale moonlight of night
Dreams, no longer play me.
Just when I need you the most.
You come and take me away

He stands alone
Deeply hidden within the shadows
His thirst overtaking his senses
He hears her bare feet upon the floorboards
In the little room above
He closes his eyes
He can see her
She moves with such grace
Her hair long and flowing
Shining in the moonlight from her opened window
How many nights has he waited
To take her
Make her his
Tonight will be their night
A blood red rose clasped within his hands
He moves from the shadows
Into the moonlight
Her movements cease
She knows he is near
Tonight she will be his bride
He has waited so long for her
He wanted her before tonight
But he waited
Waited for the light of the full moon
She opens the door
Invites him in
A soft graceful smile
She smells the rose
Looks deeply into his dark soft eyes
He lifts her into his arms
So effortlessly
Tenderly he lays her upon her bed
An almost silent gasp is the only sound she makes
And with a sigh he closes his eyes
Her warm sweet blood satiates his hungry
His need
His love
She is his for eternity
His bride
Taken by the light of the moon.

There is a primeval beauty that walks at night
Laying in bed watching the sheers upon the window
Sway and move like the delicate languid movements
Of a spiritual ballerina
Is she there? Or is it just the wind?
Can you hear her soft moans?
Does your heart race knowing she is near?
Will you cry out to her,
Begging her to come out of the shadows,
Out of the dreams so you may see and touch her unearthly beauty?
Will her kiss seal your fate?
Will she feed from you and give you that last eternal kiss?
Her eyes are like orbs of fire
Her fangs, razor sharp
She comes closer
Your breath slows
But your heart races
Her bite a mere sting
Your transformation complete

A slow seductive dance

Delicious visions that start out as a simple kiss
The muted sighs of desire
Sweet harmony within the dream
Becoming undone within a dream of him
Baring her neck
Silent pleading
