Okay, never done this before but, I guess I’m just finally gotten to the point where my patience with the “in your face” attitude some people have has ran out.



This was just taken from a profile here…



“I will not tollerate bitting. Please refrain, it leads to instant blockage. I won't converse with anyone under the age of 18, or without some level of intellegence.”



Then the owner of the profile added (from the 2nd paragraph): ......." Then become involved with a aeroplane v.s hard ground incident.



Those were part the first two paragraphs of the profile.



16 paragraphs in all…This is from the 4th paragraph:

“I require intellegent conversation, and have grown tired of childish drama that really should of been left behind in your early years of schooling. I cannot stand poor grammar or disgustingly bad spelling.”



Okay---so here we go.



Misspelled word Corrected Spelling



tollerate Tolerate



bitting biting



intellegence intelligence



aeroplae airplane



I could go on and fix the rest of the misspelled words throughout the profile but I think it would probably take me another half an hour to correct them ALL…next time you want to claim to want to talk to people with intelligence…learn not only to spell the word, but you might want to actually look up the definition as well.

I know! Gosh! Give someone access to the internet and a keyboard, and they think they're little mister No-One-Can-Touch-Me. They claim to only allowing certain people to interact with them. This guy wouldn't know intelligence if it stabbed him in the navel. Typos (scarce ones) are okay. But there are dyslexics who possess better spelling abilities than this guy.



He can't stand bad grammar or bad spelling. What the frig is "should of been"? Ew. It makes me want to gag. What would he know about "early years of schooling"? Obviously he wasn't paying any attention at all.



Trying to project an image that you simply can't, seems just a little bit pointless. Not to mention pathetic.

I don't believe in "requirements" for conversation, and I tend to stay away from those who do. Plus, that sort of unnecessarily obtuse writing gives me a headache. It makes me think they're not as intelligent as they profess.

If you want to be a jack ass of a jerk and rate profiles a one because someone leaves you a stamp with their rating ---and you have nothing but all this long written out drivel that makes a person's mind go so numb that they stop reading the entire thing...then put your so-called warning near the beginning and that way you won't get a retaliation rating. First time I have EVER found myself so pissed on VR to go back and re-rate in kind…what a f*cking jack ass!

What has happened to originality?



I’m sorry I don’t mean to offend or upset anyone but I find it rather lazy of someone and a little more than annoying to go to a profile and find nothing but one internet quiz after another instead of people posting things about themselves in their own words.



I also find it lazy of someone to type in nothing but text-speak/talk…ru going 2 b there 2nite? I’m not Vanna White so I don’t have any vowels for sale, please use them!



Then and than are two completely different words and have two completely different meanings! Then pertains to a time and than pertains to a comparison.



Oh and while I’m at it…spell check is your friend, it is not a monster under the bed, it won’t bite or jump out and get you…I promise!



Grammar is a hard thing to catch, and most of the time it really doesn’t bug me, especially if I see an overall effort being made to articulate coherently…but a lack of none of the above…please, you are practically BEGGING and frothing at the mouth for someone to rate you low!
