I almost never sleep anymore and it's because I have a repeating dream. Maybe since some of you on this site are really into that stuff you can tell me what it means.

It starts in a white room with no windows or doors and only a single chair in the center. I sit in it and listen to literal absolute silence that starts to cause aching in my brain. I hear ringing and try to find the source to just see that the source is me. These black almost puffs of smoke seep through the walls somehow and take a shadowish form. I tell them I don't like the silence and I want out. I'll do anything for something other than silence and a ringing noise. They start screaming. Only one is just screaming. The rest are pretty much yelling at me. They tell me to kill myself, I'll be dying soon anyway, that my life has no meaning whatsoever. I start crying and begin to beg for silence and they go in a circle repeating harsh things, actually making me want to die. When I get so low and beg for them to let me kill myself, a voice in the corner with no shape just whispers almost saying no don't do that. It just keeps whispering, the puffs of smoke keep screaming, and I continue crying. I then wake up.

I'm no expert, but I'll try.

There seems to be some form of helplessness. Ultimately a dream is a manifest of your senses and real-life experience. Yes, the whole subconscious thingie. It could be a sensory overload in real-life... Something that's making you feel helpless. Dreams appear in various forms and yours is this.

Your best bet is to take the dream apart piece.

*Start with the room, "No windows or doors and only a single chair in the center." You're feeling that there isn't a way to escape, the chair shows that this room is familiar that the chair is meant for you, so possibly this room represents your life or your emotional state.

*The silence could stand for either feeling loneliness and how it hurts your heart. Or it could mean you're feeling rather numb lately or emotionally disconnected.

*The ringing is you breaking the silence, meaning whatever it stand for in reality you feel that only you can fix.

*These black puffs of smoke is an intrusion, a violation into this room, yet you feel that they're your ticket out, hence why you ask them for freedom and a break from the silence, sadly you find out, they break the silence, but not in the way you wish, they are harmful and cruel. So, perhaps these stand for the people you wish gave you comfort in reality, but don't, you just feel hurt.

*And the voice you hear at the end, may be your voice, your conscience, just cloaked as something else. Because deep down, you don't want to die, you don't want to listen, you just want the pain to go away, without feeling lonely, without hearing the extremes of silence or screams.

So overall you're obviously fighting inner demons, look at people you're surrounding yourself with, do you feel alone? Do you feel happy? Are your haters getting to you? You need to figure out who or what these shadow people represent. My advice, is to watch something happy before sleeping, something that makes you laugh, it may help just a tad.
