I got a package from my dad today. :) It's 2 pictures he took. He also built the frames and matted them for me. :) :)



One picture is of an old boat that has floated around in a Cook Inlet tide pool since before I can remember. It's the picture that is featured in his local telephone association's calender. The other is of an old barn out in Palmer which is the neighboring city to Wasilla where I grew up. If I'm remembering correctly you pass it when you're heading to yellow parking for the Alaska State Fair.



He's such a talented man and now I have my childhood memories turned to art on my walls. *contented sigh* I'm a lucky girl.

It's the first day in 2 weeks I actually feel up to adventuring out of the house and it's pouring rain outside. hrmph. *crosses arms and pouts*

...most days. Today was not one of those days. One transfer out, three discharges, one admission, picked up an extra from another nurse, and one transfer in. So the math to that is...started the day with 6, lost 4, gained 3, ended the day with 5 and a shitload of paperwork.
