I just updated my port last week...figures :p On the up side I'm off this weekend so maybe I'll actually have time to move all the pics I want in my port to it's own special VR file, then upload from there. Only the third time I've had to redo this thing but, life goes on.
I get a phone call at work today, 808 number which seems familiar but I don't know why. 2 minutes later my brother calls. Cool, I haven't heard from him since he returned to Hawaii 2 weeks ago. This is how the conversation goes.
"Hey little bro! Howzit?"
"Ok, I need you to pick up when that number that just called calls you back."
"umm, ok. What's up?"
"I crashed my bike yesterday and landed on the phone. The screens smashed and it's kind of in 2 pieces. It makes outgoing calls, kinda. I have the money to cover the deductible but I need you to authorize me to make an insurance claim."
"Ok, just tell them to call me back."
So 10 minutes later the lady from Verizon calls back and asks me if it's ok for him to file the claim. Can they have the last four of my social, can he use my upgrade...yadda, yadda, yadda. Sure, whatever he needs to get a new phone.
Five minutes later...
"Hey sis, do you have a credit card?"
This is my life with a brother who is a professional vagabond. :)
Took a road trip to Newport, Rhode Island this weekend and I've made a few observations...
1. People in Connecticut either don't use their turn signals or the little blinking lights simply aren't installed in the vehicles being delivered to that particular state.
2. People from New York practice the same annoying driving skills when they head north as they do when they come muck up the Parkway in the summer. (sorry Birra)
3. The Vanderbilt's have WAAAAAAAAAAAAY to much freakin' money.
But over all it was a very pleasant trip and a much needed get away from home. The Cliff Walk was amazing and unique. Parts of the "walkway" were made from large stones fitting together to create a path. Definitely a trip I'd like to make again with more time and better shoes :p

HEY NOW!
I was born and raised in Connecticut and guess what? We always said the same thing re: turn signals about people from New Jersey! lol
lmao, yeah, but I'm not from New Jersey. :p I just happen to live in this silly little state.
You know.. only people in New York City call themselves "New Yorkers." It's actually becoming an insulting monicker to the rest of the state.
As I've always said... New York City is like a huge, festering, puss-filled boil on the ass of an otherwise decent place to live.
