Riding alone

Searching the reamains
i feel fingers of ice on my spine.

Silent as the night
creeps up like sunset behind.

A letter ten feet high.
Made by hands from down below
of warning Death is nigh.
First of five to mystify
second must be blind.
Must attempt to hide my eyes
on gods i rely.
Look and see, he has come for me.

Win back the stone, or loose to Death.
I entered the domain
fought with all my strength.

one step ahead of Death .

Premonition
And now the messenger sees all
He is awaiting my Death.
World domination in his eyes
To rule the kingdom called earth.
But i have foresight
I see the downfall of evil
The dying of Death.
In spirit he's allways with me
Although he can do no harm.
I see infront of me the paradise
of mans desires.
Entry is barred for me a sentinel
the guard in the night.
His guard falls the warrior beaten
Death brings a sickening blow.
With stealth i enter the temple
under the single white light.
A dying old man
He warns me of danger
but also a choice.
He offers me the whole temple
to be passed on before his death.
But warns that fantasy will keep me there
untill my last breath.
If i decide to try my fantasys
the first in my head
With me for eternity it's tempting me
i cannot be led.
The old man is dying and i must choose
between desire and heart.
He dies with one premonition
that i will live in my quest.
And defeat the undead
And into the sun i ride
with foresight i am led.
Now armed with power in my mind
i now have equalled the score.
The demons will have to face me
and learn to live by my law.
Hear me my enemy, bow down to me
or prepare to die.
Fight me and you will see my victory
i will rule the night

Calm before the storm
Safety i can feel
darkness seems so far away.
Sleep at last reveals
the dawning of another day.
Awoken by the sound
of a fire demon in front of me.
Lightning hits the ground
razes grass where i just lay.
Calm they say, comes before the storm.
Like pride they say, comes before the fall.
Ride with me, exsperience it all.
My sword is turned to ash
By terror i am seized.
Sprinkles all around forms into an (E)
I call upon my powers
oh gods dont let me die.
Magic spell is cast
the demons banished from the sky.
The powers helped me survive
with mercy for my cause.
The demon disappeared before my eyes
yet death got his reward.
The second now i have seen
burned deep upon my soul.

Deep inside my thoughts
i can sense that it is time.
To search my soul for answers
and ask questions of my mind.
So far i have eluded the hunter
yet i must remind.
Myself that i have seen
what others now see.

Onward for the stone
or let my people die.
Choose safety of home
or venture for the eye.
I have faced the demons
who struck terror on my soul.
I have seen two letters
three more and i behold.
The coming of the messenger
his spirit to steal mine.
Fortune smiles upon me
now my help is devine.
To restore the balance of eternity
the stone must be returned
before the final day.
If the force of darkness
still retains the stone.
When the time arrives
and the universe is one.
Death and Armageddon
will rule for all eternity.
Clouds of black will signal
the end for you and me.
Do what my heart believes
try to retrieve the stone.
Now only living for
triumphant return home.
Snapped out of my dream
rockface seems to come alive.

A tomb of traveller's past
Rockhead comes crashing down i blackout
To reveal myself in a cave.
Littered with bones
this must be the ultimate.
Warning of the dangers
this tomb a graveyard of travellers past.
Warriors sent before me
their bones are now dust.
Torches light the wall and i read
At the end of the river red
through the valley of eternal light.
Enter the forrest of the living dead
past the creatures of the night.
There you will follow the path
that will lead to the mountain of stone.
You must collect on your way
the hero and then you must.
Pay the keeper of the gate
then solve the mystery of handles three.
If your heart and soul stray
the guardians have no mercy.
Behold i approach the keeper of the gate
Upon these doors are handles three
only one will enter.
If beyond your heart can see
i will not prevent you.
One is hope, two is courage
three is born desire.
Choose it well to suit your mind
or your life i require.
I must use my powers

Middle earth
Climbing higher and higher
the mountain top grows ever near.
Winding like a cobra
this dangerous trail that i have to endure.
Demons are awaiting
their moment to conquer the world.
The ritual is beginning
deep inside of middle earth.
Two suns nearly meeting
to cast the light in the dark.
The stone is preparing
to be used for evil, there's no turning back
I look and i see
the the altar the prison for the eye.
But then to my horror
the entrance to evil is shaped as a (T).
Four i have seen now out
my will is strong.
Fight for my homeland
i must go on.
Feeling the strength of the souls
that rely on me.
I throw caution to the wind
in a last attempt for the stone.
Demons seperate there he stands
the messenger against me on my own.

This story is taken from a concept album called
"Where legend began"
by the Enlish dogs
1986.

Where legend began is a concept album recorded in 1986 by the English dogs, the story is left open at the end. There was a competition for the best story to fit the ending outcome, which i have not seen.
Maybe people who read this might have something that will be good for the ending of this story, could you post in comment box if you have any good ideas ?
