Ice maiden
On nights by the fire when shadows grow long, some minstrel may sing you a slow huanting song. He'll sing of a maiden with ice in her breast whos beauty kills some men and enslaves all the rest. This maiden is evil. this maiden is cold. this maiden is heartless or so you've been told this maiden is fairy but of tis a lie. This maiden is mortal, this maiden is I .
My stories an old one a poor country maid. I love a young man and that love was betrayed ah sweet heart he told me I took you to bed, but your far to simple and plain to be wed. I love a maiden with eyes like the stars whos pale creamy skin that no blemishes mar, WIth lips that are wine red and hair like the sun, thats who I love lass and you not that one.
So hark all ye lads who know nothing of pain, Desire and longing shall be your refrian, take care how you love me, can you pay the price, come forfiet you soul to maiden of ice,
So love then means nothing and beauty is all, in anguish of love on dark thigns I did call, I called on the feyfolk I called on the dead, too full of hatred to feel any dread. My longing for vengence I bargianed away, my laughter for beauty as cold as the clay. My soul for the power to catch men like flies and watch as thier manly pride withers and dies.
Instead of lover I've legions of slaves, my names on thier lips as they go to thier graves, some of them die for me , some linger on. Befret of emotion , wills utterly gone. SO when you hear ballads of ice maiden's cold. with lips that are wine red and hiar sunshine gold remember what drove me o be what I am, And all that I wanted was love from one man.
So hark all ye lads who know nothing of pain, Desire and longing shall be your refrian, take care how you love me, can you pay the price, come forfiet you soul to maiden of ice,
Broken goodbyes
I open the door, I speak the truth no less I tell a story of place once rutheless
Play the words and write them down I step back and show the thorned crown
In vain it whispers , words to creep For nothing it calls the places seep
Not like us they walk away Listen for awhile but none will stay
SPeak the words but not in full to much unsaid I feel the pull
Hear the song a hundred time same old dance ,same old rhyme
Trust this one, give a chance open the door brace with a glance
Unsure of where to go from here silence build the tower sphere
Locked away behind the ice I smiles in numbness I paid the price
I chose to live and they say I'm wrong bitter and jaded and cold all along
I take thier words in stride, I smile knowing the fear all the while
Protect them from the world I know It would break them in one silent blow.
I loved again for alittle while felt the light and warmth and a smile
Too close to the light I did go Burned myself with wounds to show
thought he loved enough to know thought he would care enough to stay
He learned the words I'd always hid took a step back and goodbye he bid
The light wen dim , the key withdrew Wrapped the pieces of me in velvet new
Placed it away in drawers of old Like precious gems away to fold
nodded once and watched him leave The smile fades and nolonger I believe
I let it go, let it fade close my eyes call a spade a spade
No more I hide,I speak it free It will toughen them to see
behind locked doors I will not live Mayhaps this love again I'll give.
"WE all begin with good intent, and love was all we want.We believe that we can change ourselves, that the past can be undone, but we carry on our backs, a burden time always reveals. In the lonely light of morning in the wound that would not heal. It's the bitter taste of losing everything I held so dear."
nothing
The crimson fire bathes my form, draws me from the encombered
sanctity of rest with fires warm.
My heart is numbly introspective, found in dissacociative things
of elective.
No tears to bother would I cry, crimson bathed lands where many
have lived just to die.
silence holds my heart's violin strings, rossined bow with sweet
icen melodies it brings.
Let the tencho riase it's beat, pouring in pouring out I wonder to
what shall I face defeat.
the snow is cold the day is ice, still I think and walk and such
walkign does feel nice.
Came across a friend a knew and livid was his eyes, Hardend by the
thoughts that came I had forgotten such spies.
What once came it fell in tides, what once sung the setting sun it
rides.
Numb my body echo my heart, Let me feel less empty with no home
from which to part.
Returning soft this gypsy I, to the residence I live and with in
daily die.
Shall I wonder if thiers more, the wind calls me to the stars and
orion's shore.
Whisper soft the toungues of old, Here I now the stories of old.
friday
Once more the strobe light calls,
A typical friday night where there are mirrored walls,
All will harken to that silent call,
Drawn to her dance, thier defences do fall,
Sway with the beat the snake will dance,
liquid now the hands drift from an ongoing stance.
Once more the rythmic beat calls,
Drawn to the dance floor her eyes like mirrored walls,
Few wish to resist her spell,
The game begins her social fountian well,
The music once more to her does call,
Trapped in the beat behind the ice wall,
emotions pour emptied into the beat,
All her passions pour into the answer elite.
Close her eyes and dance the call,
Her only outlet of emotion all,
Let them come and watch her dance,
Let them see and thier pride chance,
All they need in her they see,
The only one to set them free,
Yet none can reach inside the cage,
None can touch what fire's will rage.
Close the door the dance is done,
Nothing has she lost nor won,
sway with the beat the snake will dance,
Who will come and thier pride chance?
Next week we'll see what has in store,
The next time she steps foot upon the dance floor.
Raven
A restless heart the hours creep,
daylight drifting closer like ocean waves seep.
Close my eyes for more I long,
crimson fires now whispering thier morning song.
Curled in silence the thoughts they run,
frantic paces I wish mearly to peak before the sun.
A restless heart seeking more,
Something missing in this very still core.
Closed eyes reading old pages,
scripting silently once more the pen rages.
Time to write as daylight calls,
One more sleepless day with in four walls.
Voices call I write thier words,
Slowing fading into the sounds of birds.
One more open channel to play,
another who's words silent must not stay.
Slowly the screams fade behind the lights,
one more day of false smiles and endless fights.
Another day the circles darken,
One more way to which I have to harken.
Pushed and pulled with tides to dance,
lifted and schooled with flames entrace.
Never will they know what this child holds,
Nor of what it is she molds.
Daylight comes with weary eyes,
One more night of silenced cries.
Keeper of a gate in turn,
those close tell her she'll burn.
Can't walk away from what she's learned,
can't set aside the stone she upturned.
A duty now she must uphold,
But has her heart really gone cold?
Silent reguard
walked in shadows, shades reborn.
Losts in tempest chaotic storm
Born of choas child of night
Reserected ebon angel one of sight
Silence is the becon born
Showering the dark with shadows adorn
Learn to live the adaptation again
Wondering thu the ages who we would have been
If we were what will we be,
Not of heaven or hell will we see.
A walker of the lands all inbetween
See all for what it is the silver sheen
walked in shadows, knowing scorn,
Taught that our way is wrong into which we are born
Jaded in the loss of light
Always a new endless fight
Wrapped in the silk the tempest run
Bathed in crimson the day is done
Hold fast sweet child to thy resolve
YOur inner strength don't let disolve
Not of the world of men born are we
Of something more they'll never see
The illusions of life our honors bare
Crucifying daily this world with out a care
What we've doen and who we are
Holds no baring when it renders a scar.
Loved by few and few have left,
New will come and the load will heft.
Silver stone
Razor tears for marble faces, never seen the lines it traces,
From the outside she's as cold as ice, she's their stone giver of
advice One more loss and one more heartbreak, one more dead what can
she take To numb a thousand unfallen tears.
One more smile and another mask,Another fake laugh and they wont ask
One more to save and the demons play, another healed who really can't
stay One more chuckle and one more coy look, One more debate and one
more book, One more day that she'll never look back. One morelove that
left and onemore load to heft. One more day to face, One more wound to
heal that leaves no trace. One more path she has to walk, another
political talk. One more race and one more fight, One more saved
don't need the light.
She's raised her pack her children grown, The only way she's ever
known. Lifts her chin her gaze is strong, they can't see her worlds
gone wrong. One more loss and one more heartbreak, one more dead what
can she take. To numb a thousand unfallen tears.
One more flicker of flame and one more manipulative game, One more
line to talk and one more talk to walk. Another smile and one more
rule to abide, One more compition and they'll never see it's killing
her inside.
Take me home
rap me in your arms, (save me the hells
keep me safe from harm, (from where my anger quells)
lift me in your light(tired of fighting)
from this endless fight,(hatreds ignighting)
take me from this place,(burnign the skys away)
where I have no space(please tell me you'll stay)
All alone in a crowded room(fallen to my knees)
can you steal away my gloom (screaming oh gods please)
save me from the cage (Return him unto me)
before I'm rendered to this rage (help me turn the page)
Take me home where the shadows are our light,
were the stars our path in this endless night
To our castle to our place, take me home. Just take me home.
Gone is the child
You taught me how to love, but your love was pain,
YOu tuaght me how to live, But your price came just the same
You tuaght me that the world was cold, How cruel you had to be
You tuaght how to play the game, the illusions clearly see
You tuaght me how false is security, and how to surive the night
you tuaght me to take up the blade, but i had to learn to fight
You hated me for what I was, becuase I developed the secound sight,
I learned to walk a jaded path and that all you said was right
You hated me as I touched what you never would, and ebon grew my wings
I learn what you never could, and the songs the shadow sings,
You hated me as i felt the call, your oposition I became
Grew beyond what you were, but the price was still the same
Now I know I'll never feel, pleasure that I can't know
Now you see I used to steel, the walls of ice now show
Now the pain can't touch me here,A child of the night
Now only to the universal laws I do adhere, crushed under no might
you taught me how the reality was made, but your light was dark
you tuaght me the illusion of truth abade, and I bare the mark
you tuaght me to question all before me laid, but yor touch was bare
you taught me how to walk the talk, And the secrets you did share
Yet you hated me when your children grew, my hand they knew was there
and raised my kin younger still, and away the secret I cannotshare
You hated me as I stood against your might, yet I would not kill
I did take up your fight, and the demons submissively they still
Now I know the path I walk, the duty to uphold
Now I know the silent talk, I once did break the mold
Now I know the price to pay, alone in silnce save
Now I know the secrets all, And shall take them to my grave
Valley of morning
Down the ebon marble steps, pools the crimson silk,
Trickling from the mouth of elves, lapping up honey and milk.
The soal that bells what calls confine,
Wondering in the dark what is devine,
try the tempest weather, strong the storm,
The stem is cut the drops so warm,
From the winter ashes rise a rose,
Only from the deepest quarrel of snows,
In places bathed where men can't touch,
Where no warmth, may spring a frozen stitch,
One stilled thread in the tapestry so rich.
In between the threads we walk,
ghosts among the walls with no words we talk,
Never see they'll never know,
Blinded is the fish the tank'll never show,
When all we see is mirrors to be
When the world we touch reflects so much,
Close your eyes the dawn has come, moonlit rising calling some.
aged from petals turn to dust and the sky returns to rust.
Crimson fire bathe the land, daystar rising on demand,
blood is pooling drownding deep, petals falling the rose to sleep.
Forgotten days
written in ink and signed with blood, burried in tombs now rust and mud
Locked away few none to find, hold the keys the few remind,
Put to death the crimson flow, Rested intombs of cursed bestow
silver eyes to lead the path, thru the trees the forest of wrath,
Cut away and concrete built, lost our way the secret's melt,
Written in blood and etched in night, burried beneath the secound sight
All one ream no vails to hold, all one place the perceptions unmold,
Like amicroscope the view to change, Never moved the world does
rearrange,
how many know this trick of trades where the line between light and
dark fades.
What is light but for a populus whole, what is dark for for personal
group's goal?
Whatis good but creationto unfold, what is evil but preservation
and transformation to mold?
Moral ways of slaving hearts, Mortal bounds no understood parts,
Written in night and etched in stars, some still whisper adn hold the
scars,
How many will listen, how many will know. How will come the talents grow
The war unfolds the vales grow thin, war to spill over to al worlds
with in
Crimson lands now born of fire, Ebon lights the souls of aeyr.
Returned from tombs and paths of old, to see how man can be saved with
tales unfold
bounds of light
Hearts once bare the petals unfold, Giving life the story untold,
The moon lights the sky afire, bathed in crimson hearts of aeyr,
Long ago the stories told, given birth the rules unfold,
Ebon rose the world now calls, Lady hope the grace enthralls
To what end does the heart find it's light, when in such valor to
end the fight?
Crimson lands once bathed in jade, Bitter love by which to abade,
silence calls as whispered winds, Waterfalls flow like slient fins
Thru the trees they whisper of old, stories lost and talents mold,
Deep in thickets hear thier call, for even surrounded in noise the
silence does fall.
Build it up the tower with in, protect the knowledge that now is thin
Selfmastery becomes the key, where the illusion is the perception
of reality.
A minds the tool to access all, train it well the secret's call,
Gates to open, doors to creep not inly in the silence the knowledge
to reep
crystal cave ,obsidian tower, build the light the becon's flower,
Ebon rose the lotus bloom, given life from rays of moon,
snow to fall and hematite grown, how many remember the throne?
Blood was shed the war began, how many to remember what we were how
many can?
Close your eyes and hear the call, tear away the razor wire wall,
See the web and feel the link, where inside are we insycn?
Shut away these doors they have, of places man can't own or salve,
Raw these world of spirits told, of places long lost and bold,
Can you see the crystal light, cacoons unfold, ebon wings take flight.
How many born once caste aside, not of them the power embide
Shadow fire
Roses born of ebon fire, from ashes risen new desire
Born of talents rare and old, Washed from places of stories told
Once the hearts of men were true, once the honor abound they knew,
humbled all the great elite, Fallen now unto deciet
razor wire wall humanities claim, Taught from birth another game
Raised in etiquette proper and rare, Born a lady with firey care
No fears to haunt these saphire eyes, only shadows the edges prize
Held fast to once an old resolve, Rite' followed the path evolve,
To what knowledge can we find the key, between the secounds are the
moments of immortality.
We are not of flesh and bone, not whichcan be carved in stone,
Born of aeyr our souls complete, trying to understand ourselves
nature's elite
Whispered once on toungues of old, in places far of stories told,
Lay in silence now held bare, So few left and less to care,
Of ages doth the phoenix come, oracle of ages the world's undone
One more lost civilization in time, societal worlds the ties untwine
How many lost of shadowed born, how riased to hate in scorn?
how many hearts have fallen bare, stripped of fruit devoid ofcare?
How many sheep blinded at birth, how many talented to never know thier
worth?
What will we become when all is lost, and who will have paid the
piper's cost?
Evolved with nature we leave behind, the society of mundanity those
who are blind.
A gift of birth our talents a psalm, How many born of ebon nyctenflam?
places bound in silent space, starlit world with ebon grace.
Held fast once to such resolve, bound and bitter the jaded evolve,
Ebon dove the broken wings, jaded love the heart's old strings
Obsidian tower the bounds have bid, shattered dreams the path does rid
Paths no light can deem thier aid, Time to call a spade a spade,
Shadowed companions the living fare, albino born the infant mare,
Patheric blood the torrents bound, Amongst the ebon ashes found
Where once inflames the rose was born,Raised inhatred knowing only scorn
Masochistic seeds to haunt the eyes, Born of anger inside thier lies
Breaking free her wings don't mend, razor wire wall of humanity desend
Lure her in to tear he down, the ebon grace no can not be bound,
Fear now claim the hearts of men, for shes a threat not one of them
Caste aside the shadow born, razor tears down her marble face once torn
The cycle turns and her duty unfolds, gathered other discarded cacoons
to break thier molds,
Mend the wounds and heal the core,Give them family and mend the score
She'll never see the light she is, never know the becon she gives,
A child of the in between, caste aside for what she's seen
Ice no holds her ebon heart, indifferent to any who aren't apart,
Empathic ways her heart way bound, knowing emotion only in others found
Let it go to build to the cage, For the now the worlds eternal stage
In the now between moments glare, hidden in shadows her face is bare
Shy away the spotlight comes, pull away the touch unnumbs
No razor tears to ever cry, no golden cup to meet the eye,
Razor tears for marble faces, dry thier fears their dread erases,
Lift them up on ebon wings, Toss them to the sky the twilight brings
Let them soar from humanity's clutch, save them all remove the crutch.
Was was she of ebon grace, born aware of time and space,
Talk with those long ago passed, time to reserect at last.
Among the ebon ashes found, pheonix of ages her heart unbound.

~Razor wire roses~
Cut me up your bitter words in silken spin
play my heart on strings, my violin,
draw me in to bring me down,
wrap me up to scar my wounds I drownd,
crystal tears, my silver razor wire scheme,
those that fall , my penance redeem,
tear my paper dreams to shreds,
while I'm laying in your beds,
show the world how cold it has meant,
return september days my summer's spent,
thy words like bitter wine,
can't get enough, the wounds that bleed are mine,
draw me close as I conceed,
hateful words of silent deed,
Ride the edge my razor wire fiend gleaming,
close my eyes the days are dreaming,
locked away my cage of price,
of your love, this blade and dice,
torn away from your sweet embrace
and come running back your arms erase.
Can't get enough, this bitter wine,
From my soul it is you dine.
Looking down now I see
It wasn't you that creature's me
The mirror bleeds it's crimson tears
Tearing down the walls of fears
My words are like a drug I draw you in
you'll return with your soal full of poison sin
Drink you down and wounds to heal
for a time just rest and feel.
~nova~
A thousand words I've wished to say,
a thousand ways for you I pray.
Long thebounds have bid my way,
longer yet,the path from which we cannot stray.
Crimson sacrifices to bring the day,
Caste aside the binding stones that do play,
Come forth unto a darkend light from the fray.
Stand still and tall my sweet prince of such,
feel thier warmth theier love enflod and clutch.
Never like this does the crimson curtian flow,
once again the story plays, how will it grow.
Build the tower of our people passed the stars above,
The starlit nova burning bright agifted dove.
AS the pheonix of the ankh takes flight it's soal free
another is born of ashes as you and me.
The nova is the inbetween, between the beginning and the end,
A place of whichin all it's potentiality may ascend.
No longer shall thee fear the eternal night,
Let it's silent shadow be thy light.
Upon this day new bounds to forge,
leader of the crimson ways of wriath and scourge.
Stripped away of penance fro msins doth long done,
as thru thy viens all bloods doth run.

Love me just a little while, before your petals fade.
Let me see you smile, before in silence you then jade.
Let the light illuminate your wings, transparent veils to hold.
wrapped now in silken things, where leather will be bold.
Let me love you for a time, where time itself is still.
Sing with me a softer rhyme, before your grave we fill.
Enjoy the night upon air, the colder flakes of snow.
Live the life you dare, but remember to enjoy the show.
Born all are we to die, our silence holds the door
Remember not to be shy, and enjoy all that is in store.
We live three beats, our souls the drum we free.
Fill it with eternal sheets, the moments are the key.
Like a white sheet of paper, write to your own content.
Dance to your own tune shaper, enjoy the time you spent.
Regrets are bitter things, best left for other people.
Hold fast from your resolve springs, Let it be your steeple.
We introspect and psychoanalyze
Build ourselves up just to cut our own ties,
Walking on air we cut our own lines
Plunge thru the ice and tear away blinds.
Perfect ourselves to prove we're not weak,
fortify the fortress 7 days a week.
We are the stone and made of steel
Born to fight the world we feel
Lock it down shut it away,
Label it a weakness, for another day.
We burn ourselves out and to far fly
Hit the ground only again to try.
To ourselves so much to prove,
Build it up to find our groove.
Our wounds we neglect, another's need,
Our hunger's we forget, another to feed.
Wounds become scars and razor tears
Invisible lines hidden like fears.
Sacrifice so another can smile
Raise up their hope just for a while.
Walked in silence, lived in jade,
Born to serve, a reason made.
From pain we feed , our strength impales
our own hearts to bleed on razor rails.
For the ones we love, will love us back
Cry our tears , add white to our black.
One picture a thousand words
Like the snow in december and the flight of birds.
One day, when I was a freshman in high school,
I saw a kid from my class was walking home from school.
His name was Kyle.
It looked like he was carrying all of his books.
I thought to myself, "Why would anyone bring home all his books on a Friday?
He must really be a nerd."
I had quite a weekend planned (parties and a football game with my friends tomorrow afternoon), so I shrugged my shoulders and went on.
As I was walking, I saw a bunch of kids running toward him.
They ran at him, knocking all his books out of his arms and tripping him so he landed in the dirt.
His glasses went flying, and I saw them land in the grass about ten feet from him.
He looked up and I saw this terrible sadness in his eyes
My heart went out to him. So, I jogged over to him and as he crawled around looking for his glasses, and I saw a tear in his eye.
As I handed him his glasses, I said, "Those guys are jerks. "
They really should get lives.
"He looked at me and said, "Hey thanks!"
There was a big smile on his face.
It was one of those smiles that showed real gratitude.
I helped him pick up his books, and asked him where he lived.
As it turned out, he lived near me, so I asked him why I had never seen him before.
He said he had gone to private school before now.
I would have never hung out with a private school kid before.
We talked all the way home, and I carried some of his books.
He turned out to be a pretty cool kid.
I asked him if he wanted to play a little football with my friends
He said yes.
We hung out all weekend and the more I got to know Kyle, the more I liked him, and my friends thought the same of him.
Monday morning came, and there was Kyle with the huge stack of books again.
I stopped him and said, "Boy, you are gonna really build some serious muscles with this pile of books everyday!
"He just laughed and handed me half the books."
Over the next four years, Kyle and I became best friends.
When we were seniors, we began to think about college.
Kyle decided on Georgetown , and I was going to Duke.
I knew that we would always be friends, that the miles would never be a problem. He was going to be a doctor, and I was going for business on a football scholarship.
Kyle was valedictorian of our class.
I teased him all the time about being a nerd.He had to prepare a speech for graduation.I was so glad it wasn't me having to get up there and speak Graduation day, I saw Kyle.
He looked great. He was one of those guys that really found himself during high school.
He filled out and actually looked good in glasses.
He had more dates than I had and all the girls loved him.
Boy, sometimes I was jealous!
Today was one of those days.
I could see that he was nervous about his speech.
So, I smacked him on the back and said, "Hey, big guy, you'll be great!"
He looked at me with one of those looks (the really grateful one) and smiled.
"Thanks," he said.
As he started his speech, he cleared his throat, and began
"Graduation is a time to thank those who helped you make it through those tough years.
Your parents, your teachers, your siblings, maybe a coach...but mostly your friends...
I am here to tell all of you that being a friend to someone is the best gift you can give them.
I am going to tell you a story."
I just looked at my friend with disbelief as he told the story of the first day we met.
He had planned to kill himself over the weekend.
He talked of how he had cleaned out his locker so his Mom wouldn't have to do it later and was carrying his stuff home.
He looked hard at me and gave me a little smile.
"Thankfully, I was saved.
My friend saved me from doing the unspeakable."
I heard the gasp go through the crowd as this handsome, popular boy told us all about his weakest moment.
I saw his Mom and dad looking at me and smiling that same grateful smile.
Not until that moment did I realize it's depth.
Never underestimate the power of your actions.
With one small gesture you can change a person's life.
For better or for worse.
God puts us all in each other's lives to impact one another in some way.
