Bound to someone who cannot be seen.
Faith shatters in my face.
The pieces cutting deep, itching under the skin,
scarring my inner self.
I hide what is not to be seen,
so much that I've buried it alive
under excuses, smiles, and curiosities.
Like a wave surging, I'm overwhelmed
if only to make one moment belivable.
Scared of the world's eyes.
One peers in as a part of myself falls.
All who have seen,
now blinded.
I'm aways running
but the pursuer never tiers,
and yet it's my only security
as he approaches, we stumble.
