An effort to Educate

19:21 Apr 22 2009
Times Read: 801

I souls start by saying I was a carney, I once worked rides, tjen worked joints with my Pops as a well seasoned teacher.

I learned the Gimmicks early.

If I was to go to a carnival today ( many no longer apply gimmicks) I would natural avoid certain games that have potential for gimmickry.

I would also advise my friends against playing such games.

Imagine now if you would? Being their when I tell a friend who is considering playing " Bussel Baskets" a game that can be, and usually is gimmicked.

Imagine I mentioned in passing, " Dont play that game you won't win."

Then after I am no longer present the friend witnesses a " win".

So now it is a matter of showing me up by playing, and winning.

After playing ( at three dollars a toss) he is likely not going to win until a price is payed. The gimmick won't allow a win unless the operator decides the person ponied up enough usually 30 plus dollars) for a prize that cost 2.50 tops.

Had the friend asked, " Why can I not win.", or If I had offered more info regarding how the game is rigged to avoid winning. He would have had a different approach.

What effected his judgement? An false conclusion, based on an observation of a planted demonstration, he witnessed what appeared to contridict an advisery from a friend.

So Much for Application

20:43 Apr 14 2009
Times Read: 951

There are so many people n this site who profess to be" Empathic"

yet reading their journal enteries it is clear that they have no reliable disernment concerning those they fall head first for intimately, noticable as well is the lack of insight from other professed "Empathic people". So much for application, if people spent half the time developing social skills, that they spend professing to be "gifted" they could benift someone.

Christians preaching on a vampire site. Claiming to be vampires.

I reason that in their churches ( another pretense to socialize under) they profess to be converting decadent satanist, yet here they are presenting Bondage and fetish inquiries.

What is Truth?

22:24 Apr 01 2009
Times Read: 1,050

The quest for it can be more than a little confusing. Respected web sites, and books can affirm anything you need or want to believe. There is only one demand of self delusion: you must be selective in the amounts of reading, and thinking that you intend to do.

Some notions are easier to believe then others. |Arguments that genuinely respect reason and evidence require simple attention to be convincing. Arguments more careless in upholding reason and evidence require more than this. They must make up in repetition what they lack in power.

Philophies of the most doubtful kinds require the most avid reading. The are less arresting, and individuals find them sensible only be devoting more minutes to reading their merits than to pondering their loopholes.
