As some of you who know me know, I was waiting for a very long time to hear from social security disability about whether or not I qualified for my Lupus. It was a long journey. They finally approved me, but now another journey begins. I will be seeing all new doctors, which means all new tests, explaining things again, getting my medical records, new medicines, etc. Now I realize this is not really a bad thing. I haven't been being treated properly for my Lupus for over two years. This is why I continue to get worse and continue to be sick. Perhaps these doctors can finally get me on the right track with new medicine and everything. It is just the time it takes to go through my history and my symptoms (especially the new ones), all the tests being done over, and having to go to anywhere from 5 - 10 doctors, that is rather tiring and somewhat annoying. To be honest, I have been through a similar doctor switch, and it is exhausting. I haven't been this sick in a long time, so it may take them a while to get the ball rolling.
Don't get me wrong, I am glad I got approved and I now have health care and can see more doctors. I'm happy to have all that. I just find the process exhausting lol. Just thinking about it is exhausting me. I just hope it all works out because I am REALLY tired of being in pain.

What an assurance. In the end all that time waiting ( painfully waiting)
Has paid off, sadly the abuse of the SDI makes those who have legit needs have to jump through more hoops.

Sister I hope sincerely that it all works out for you and you dont get too exhausted. In Oz here it took them 15 years to approve me for disability and then I too had the round and round the doctors to play.hopefully things are going better for you now dear sister and the new meds help.
Sincerely The Nitewulf
