The Ultimate Vampire Resource and Directory

A worker wearing coveralls came into a chain hardware store, going around behind clerk areas picking up trash. He became a common figure, friendly but unremarkable. He always left out the back of the store with a wheelbarrow full of trash. He cleaned 5 stores each week, but never made friends with any of the staff.

One day, he showed up in the coffee shop next to one of the hardware stores. The manager of the hardware store was there and noticed the worker was drinking coffee. The manager sat down and asked how things were going. The worker said that he was fine and now retired.

The manager looked surprised and then said; "I would like to ask you a question: I never figured out what contractor you worked for cleaning up trash. But all these years, I had the gut feeling you were up to no good. Were you stealing from the stores?"

The retired worker replied, "Sure. The wheelbarrows."
