As I walk through darkness
She comes to me, senseless.
I reach out to touch her
But she runs in laughter.
Seeking her presence
I set out on her trail,
Seeking her true love
I set out from above.
To my great disbelief
She has vanished in fear.
Covered in grief
I can no longer cheer.
In my desire of love
I reach out for her hand,
I reach out for my dove,
Though forever she's gone.
