My boss and coworkers bought me a gift certificate to get my hair done so I did.
I loooooooooove it.
You know, I've been thinking about this recently. When I was younger, I used to have fangs.
My canines were especially sharp (I would cut my tongue on them at times). Also, I was born without one eye tooth in my top jaw (the eye teeth are the teeth in between the incisors and canines) so the dentist removed the other eye tooth and my canines moved more towards the front of my mouth. This made them look even more like fangs.
Then one day I was at the orthodontist getting my braces off and he took out this drill and, without asking me, filed down my canines to make them look like eye teeth.
I was so upset and angry. I loved my "fangs".
*Sadness prevails*
Santa brought me a 500GB external hard drive and some sheepskin boots :)
So I just took a bubble bath and after I came out this big chunk of wax fell out of my ear... GROSSS
I'm going to my grandma's house for dinner later and *hopefully* getting some Christmas money...
I have the rest of this week and then next week off of work...yay!
My boss and co-workers got me a $120 gift certificate to my hair salon to get my hair done !!! :D Yay so I'm thinking like a bright burgundy red with one black chunk in my bangs...
I'll be going to Monterey with my best friend for New Year's Eve and my birthday (January 1st, I'll be 21!) If you want to send me a present let me know :p
So, I'm feeling *slightly* guilty for something I did yesterday. I work for a small department at my university and one small part of my job is to order desk copies of textbooks for our teachers. These are the textbooks the students will be purchasing, but we get them for free from the publisher for each teacher.
So yesterday I found out that two of my expensive textbooks that I'll be needing next semester come from publishers that we get desk copies for...so I emailed them asking for a desk copy of each of my textbooks. They might not be able to send them but if they do I will be getting two of my textbooks for free this semester. I don't think this is a bad thing because I am very broke and these books are very expensive and the publishers make a whole lot of money anyway so who cares, right?
By the way, Merry Christmas Eve!

Sorry this is so late i don't really read journals very often. Know the pain of losing a beloved pet you have my deepest sympathies.
This Christmas is going to be pathetic (as far as presents go). I am broke, my whole family is broke, my friends are broke, and the people I work with are broke.
I'm not really sad or anything...but I just wish I could get some of the things I've been wanting for a while. I'm not used to not having any money... and the money I have is going towards bills and paying for school and textbooks.
I might just end up selling some of my stuff...
>,< *sadness*
We had to put my kitty down yesterday... he had renal failure and he just couldn't do it anymore. I think I'm going to have him cremated, and I will keep his ashes in an urn. I will miss him...
RIP Little Rascal...
My cat seems to be very ill...he was diagnosed with kidney disease a few months ago and today he has been very sick. He can't lift his head up and he can hardly walk...he has to sit down every couple of steps to keep from falling over. He has been sleeping on my bed mostly since I got home from work, and he leaves to drink water or go potty...he hasn't really been eating. The vet gave him some electrolyte fluid today to help with his kidneys, but he doesn't seem to be getting better. His leg is all swollen right now because of the fluids and it makes his walking even worse.
I'll probably have to come home early from work tomorrow so that he's not alone...
I've had him since I was 8 years old...I love him so much.
If you believe in any deity, please pray for him. His name is Little Rascal.
