I think the problem lies essentially in the fact that when I choose someone as a partner, they are my first thought, and consideration, but no matter where I am in someone else's life, I'm usually one of their last thoughts, and considerations.
But I know from experience, if I act in a way that I put myself first, it is unacceptable. Always.
But if they act in a way where they put me first, a parade is expected.
That awesome moment when you triple the money you make because the dispatch didn't have the job ready to go, and they still have to pay you a minimum for not being able to do it....
I have no understanding why on every single service job I take, they are never, ever, ever ready to go.
Recognize something....
Anytime the government makes a change that negatively impacts everyone, it impacts the financially lower 98% the most.
Anytime the government makes a change that benefits the upper 2%, the lower 98% reap no benefits.
Stop voting for what only helps the economy. Vote for what helps people.
Stop listening to the people who tell you that you're not good at things that you enjoy doing.
Someone once told me I don't know how to be an actor.
I just landed another lead role in a short film being shot in Rochester.
Just do the shit you want to do, and keep working on getting better at it.
This weekend was apparently very quiet on the darker side of social media.
Sunday I spent the entire day on set for the movie's final shooting day. Had some pretty good spots for being a "background extra" so I'll be more in the foreground for some of those scenes which is pretty cool.
And it pays. So for a day of really not doing much of anything at least I made some money.
Passed on another acting opportunity because I had already committed to filming her performance. I'm far more dedicated to the people in my life, than my own career at time.
Shortcoming, or strength? Who knows.
It doesn't seem overly appreciated at any point by anyone.
Newspaper photo blog dude: Turn DOWN the SATURATION. No one at that event was remotely dressed like a clown, but that's how everyone looks.

Lol!! That’s kinda funny.
I'm blown away at times by what passes as good photography in the media around here.
Passed on an opportunity to be an extra in a film today because they weren't offering me a featured role.
Am I becoming pretentious?
Taking some time this morning to go through my Model Mayhem page which is less than useful these days. Seeing friend requests from models that have been stale for months. But these people...
If you want to get paid for your modeling, perhaps your portfolio should be more than grainy, blurry cell phone snaps from a nightclub? Just thinking out loud there....
Well, I managed to make it all work yesterday. Rescheduled an interview, worked as an extra in two scenes for the movie, and managed to make my photoshoot on time.
Stressful, but enjoyable. Good to keep busy as the world is always in fluid motion.
Received that business's P&L today. It looks good. If I can figure out financing with them, this is a go. :)
Finally got a call for some extra work in a major TV production.
Of course it falls on a day that I already have two photography gigs booked.
All week I'm open... except that day.
Ugh.
A food truck?
The opportunity just opened up to me...
This could get interesting.
