..I think... I... aced it.
And by the sounds of it, this could be one helluva'n opportunity.
An interview on a Sunday? Really?
Ok... well, I'll just show you how flexible and responsive to requests I can be...
Getting ready.

Hope you nail it. :)
YAY! GOOD luck to you!
I'm stressed. Not sure if i will even want the job, but can't pass up the opportunity.
I'm such a bad interviewee....
The new contract is going swimmingly. I spend every day fighting to stay awake while reading through self-paced learning on the applications they use. The "job" itself won't start until about August 8th. I've finished 4 courses, I have 9 more to do and 3 are compliance standards which I don't have to have done until September.
If you think this journal entry is boring... try riding along with me for a day at the new job.
Zzzzzzzzzzz.....

LOL not boring at all. Keep on, you're nearly there :)
Send some reading material over. I need a nap.
Joli, I guarantee you, this stuff would have you out in no time.
Think - unnecessarily heavy acronym use combined with a mix of tech and job description, written like the intended audience is pre-schoolers.
Tomorrow I start the new contract. It is official. Of course, they still don't know what time I'll be starting, but at least we've narrowed it down to a day.
This puts me back were I was about 6 years ago. Less excited about this opportunity than when I started the travelling gig, but it a least it stabilizes my income and gives me some benefit options. I will need that steady base for the next few steps...

Congratulations! I'm exhaling a little for you. Here's to a great contract and new horizons for you and Aspire!
I am glad they gave you the contract. Good job, mi amigo! :D
Got the RMA for repair set up for the customer. I guess that makes two of these systems in 5 years going back for repair...
...can't really blame the manufacturer on this one, though...
...yeah, sorry. It states it in the warranty - pretty much in just this way - that if you spill your drink on your laptop, it isn't covered under warranty.
Unless you get an Accidental Damage warranty - which no one buys because they think they are buying the only indestructible, accident proof laptop ever made...

My friend spilt beer or something sticky on his keyboard and the keys stuck...he gave it to the repair shop and instead of replacing the keyboard part with the proper HP one, they used a generic crap one...a month or two later the laptop overheats to the point that the new bit has lifted off and the whole damn thing is useless. Moral of this boring old story is don't spill drink on the keyboard. Ever.
Actually, I griped too soon. The customer actually DID buy the ADP warranty. One of the few people who did.
Of course, she took the laptop to Best Buy immediately to have them pull the data - which cost her $99... something we would have done as part of our service process for no extra charge...
*shakes head*
I wish I had a 7-digit marketing budget...
:(
That just sucks. You'd think... She's contact you first. But nooo let's pay 100 for something you could have done as part of the Accidental Damage Warranty and done it better.

Waiting on an offer letter. They said they would have it to me tonight - I have to turn it around tonight and then they will send me what I need for a drug-screen and background check...

Awesome. I couldn't be more excited for you if it were me. Of course, that drug test may trip you up a little. Oh wait, that would be me, not you. lol
