...the chickens are fine. It actually started warming back up during the night - this morning they were all happily snuggled together on the perch and one of them didn't even bother to get off the perch before laying an egg...



Admittedly I was a bit worried, but like I told the kids when I had to break it to them that there wouldn't be any heat in the coop... chickens have survived thousands or possibly even millions of years of evolution without any coops... they'll figure it out.

Went to the Sabres vs. Devils game tonight, courtesy of Faeriemoon - it was a 3-way holiday gift - a ticket for me, for Morri and for herself.



Had a great time! Now it's time to give Morri a back rub. Heh.

Exhausted. That is the word of the day. But, for some reason I do have energy.



Energy enough to start my morning by putting my laundry away. Yes, nothing more exciting on a Friday morning than organizing socks.



Coffee... oh, and I got underwear back with my laundry... that I just don't think are mine. Same brand as I have... but they just don't... look familiar.



And I'm a bit creeped out by that...

My new calendar a vendor sent me states that today is National, "I'm not going to take it anymore," day.



How many places I can go with this one...



Monday is National, "Jump in a puddle and splash your friend," day. I think most people in the northeast and midwest will end up with broken ankles and shin-splints if they celebrate that one literally...

Wow... I skipped two at once. Quite the jump.



The Wii froze up on the kids last night. The game just locked up and it wouldn't reset or turn off...



...and, you know, not that I think the kids should have done this but someone there pulling the power cord out on their own was out of the question. Too complicated to figure that one out....



I think I need to get my kids their A+ and Net+ certifications now to prepare them for the games they will be playing five years from now.

See, I know A+ and Net+ is looked upon in the tech world like graduating from elementary school, but they teach basics. Especially basic troubleshooting - start with the simple then work out to the complex.



I can't tell you how many support calls I've received for printers that wouldn't print... and when I asked them to turn it off and turn it back on, the user discovered it wasn't on in the first place.
