Hosted a photography instructional for my filming group today. Fun morning of being in studio and just playing with different techniques, positioning, etc...
I see collaboration as the quickest path to success. If we all work together, we all grow and succeed.
A model that I work with forwarded me a message from a crazy person that I wouldn't collaborate with, because he is crazy...
...he basically told her I'm the worst photographer ever, she's an idiot for working with me, and abandoning working with him, and my photography is so bad, other models would sue me because of the pictures.
And I quote, "I've seen better cell-phone selfies. A monkey could press a button and get better pictures."
Who here wants the back story for this?
Anyway... I just channel my inner Churchill and figure he made me an enemy because I stood up to him, and for others. He didn't like it.
I must be doing well.

i would of stood up to him also
He's an ass. He recently posted on Facebook asking for help with filming a short film. A colleague of mine who has worked on major productions answered him saying he would help. This D/B told my friend, no thank you, because my friend is so high up in the film industry around here that there is no way my friend won't steal his ideas....
My friend answered, "If there is one thing I've learned, it is, if you're so worried people will steal your ideas that you won't accept help, your ideas are crap to begin with."
