B: Looking for a model in Buffalo for this upcoming shoot.
Model from Brooklyn: I would be interested!
B: You realize Buffalo is 400 miles from Brooklyn, right?
Model from Brooklyn: Really? But it says it's in New York!
Geography is important. This happens every time.
I'm struggling with the mentality of the "fashion industry" in this area right now. Everyone seems hell-bent on making a name for themselves, but no one actually wants to invest in the industry to help it grow.
Designers show off their stuff, but who is buying? Models show off their skills, but where are the playing jobs? Shows take place, but aside from the venue, who makes money?
Without an economy behind it, it goes nowhere. But no one seems to recognize that, nor make the social investments to make that happen.
What an asshole! How dare that dickhead think he can do this and get away with it!
50 Shades of Grey should become this generation's Rocky Horror. People should just show up to the theater with all sorts of props, and cheer, and jeer and throw things around.
My recommendations: show up with a kinky leather blindfold and ear plugs. That way you won't have to actually see or hear the movie.

Hahaha! That would be great!
...But leave your gag ball at home and sing "Hit me baby one more time" the entire time. :)
Bring safety goggles so you don't lose an eye to a wild flogger....
I think that song from Rocky Horror too would be a great theme song for 50 shades, the one where she sings touch me, touch me... I want to be touched by you...
