I would gladly offer some light on the subject, but the past has already become so convoluted to so many people I fear there simply isn't a point to it anymore.

Everyone remembers things to be as they want them to have been. Whatever works in the moment when you're trying to conjure up the ghosts of the past....

It really doesn't matter though; those ghosts will haunt you regardless of how you try to remember them.
