She never knew true loves face
Until she looked him in the eyes
She never knew the sunshine's rays
She never knew about the skies
She looked at him and wondered why
Her heart began to race
She never knew what it felt like
Until she saw his face
He was good for her or so it seemed
In each and every way
She always talked and thought and dreamed
She loved him more and more each day
Her heart soared like an angel's
With plumes of off white wings
She never knew that she would fall
And her heart would cease to sing
She never knew how much it hurt
To loose the ones you love
She didn't know it from the start
That she was his fallen angel from above
As time went by her heart healed
She wandered alone for so long
And thought she knew her fate was sealed
She continued to go on
She searched for the one to keep her heart
To keep it safe from harm
Each day had a brand new start
She would start anew with the morn
She thought she found the one she liked
To erase the one she loved
She knew it was because of spite
Though she acted like a dove
And then again she fell for him
He loved her or so it seemed
And once again she let him in
With the turning of the leaves
She was happy, but not was he
The other he could not live without
His heart and head swam like the sea
And filled him up with doubt
One was content but one was not
And so he let her go
They both had but one parting thought
As he walked away leaving her in the snow
When there was darkness in her world
He was her only light
He always helped her wings unfurl
And helped her heart take flight
He walked away with blinded eyes
His heart began to tangle
He walked away and left behind
His only perfect forsaken angel
As she lay there in her bed
Her heart all broken and shattered
She felt like she were better dead
Because she never really mattered
She always thought she could make a change
In each and every way
But it was destinies thought to re-arrange
Her every thought that day
Forever she lies, Broken and dying
In her blackened bed
He may have left her cold and crying
But now he leaves her dead
These crimson tears forever fall
Showing the pain she feels inside
They never know what she feels
Her appearance fools them all
He knows how she feels
Because what she feels, he felt too
He knows the pain, and he knows the hurt
He knows what part of her is real
She was his fallen angel, his eternal love
But return her favor he did not
She gave her entire world to save him
But to love meant to be cast down from above
So she was damned in darkness for only one
He knew her love, he knew her devotion
But to return it would be his downfall
He could only live what was his life in the sun
For years and years he chained her heart
Bound to hi like the stars in the sky
He was her driving force
She should have told him from the start
She lay broken in her bed
Her tears flowing forever
And her heart shattered
She only wished to be dead
He had been her shining knight
The one who was supposed to ave her
What he felt, she felt to
He was supposed to be the one to bring her to the light
Love blossoms like a red, red rose,
But our only hate blossoms out of love.
We all must know our true feelings for someone,
Before we learn to hate them.
Our hate for others lies,
Inside our own hate for ourselves,
And upon accepting all of ourselves,
We destroy the need to hate and create the will to love.
In the loved one we find perfection,
In the hated one we find our faults.
Their perfection lies in the ability to accept ourselves,
And their faults, in their ability to accept what we cannot.
An ideal so very simple and yet,
And yet very few come to realization.
Few will ever find their perfection in love,
And other only hate in other who accomplished their own faults.
To hate, we must first love,
And to find true love is the greatest gift of all.
To find one who can accept us, faults and all,
Someone that will love you because of who you are and in spite of it.
These are the gifts given to us in life,
Along with the ability to feel so much more.
But to have understanding of these gifts,
That is the truest gift we are given.
To recognize our hate, from our angered love,
And in that process find the ability to admit wrong.
Admit to ignorance and hope,
For who knows, one day all hate could disipate, leaving only true love.
