My relationships...
Despite my charisma, I am portrayed as a lonesome individual. In my childhood the only member of my family that I had any connection with was my mother, Gabrielle. She is the only member of the family who could read and often immersed herself in her novels, neglecting the mundane life around her. I both admire and hate her for this, yet I am the only person of her family she can confide in; we develop a silent but strong bond. For this very reason, I made Gabrielle my first vampire companion when she comes to Paris in search of her son, wishing to see me before she succumbs to consumption.
I also made my best friend, Nicolas de Lenfent, a vampire. We both worked at a small theatre called "Renaud's". I started off as a stage hand and then, to my surprise, became a star of the show when I steped in for another actor. Nicolas became a violinist in the theatre's small orchestra. After I was abducted and made a vampire, I tried to distance myself from my mortal friends and family, but I still provided for them. I bought Nicolas an apartment and many other luxuries, such as a Stradivarius violin, with his newly acquired "coin of the realm". Nicolas was suspicious, especially when I disappeared with my mother the night she comes to visit, and Gabrielle returned magically healed. I eventually gave into the love I felt for Nicolas and made him a vampire as well after saving him from the self-proclaimed Children of Darkness, a coven of vampires led by Armand. Nicolas rejected me, as his new maker and sinks into madness. I collapsed Armand's coven, buys Renaud's old theatre and gives it to Eleni and Nicolas to do with it whatever they wish, while Gabrielle and I left Paris to explore the world.
Another fledgling and long-term companion was Louis de Pointe du Lac, a young Creole from New Orleans whom I turned into a vampire in the 18th century in 1791. For almost a century, Louis and I lived, traveled, and killed together. Though Louis claims that I made him into a vampire because I merely wanted his fortune, I refuted these claims in my own book. I pointed out that I was heir to a vast fortune well before meeting Louis, and said that I fell "fatally in love" with Louis, and that he reminded me of Nicki.

I do remember that the names ring off in my head. Its more than a story its true things that happen and took place in a time that is lost from us but never forgotten of. old things like the mere names or a phase or words can re-trigger old memories lock away in ones heart and soul. Ever so whating to be free once again. I love listening the way you tell it so like it was yesterday. I do say you have a way with words my dear friend as do I. I too have started writing story from my own creative mind and added some passion and soul to it where the reader is there watching and learning what goes on. I would love to speak more freely with you and have you read my storys and please do leave your comments for each story. bravo keep it goes.
