After nearly 2 years I finally was able to get a car!

I was going to use part of my backpay money to pay for a used car outright. So I go to the dealership and test drive a few cars in my price range (under $7k). Well I wasn't really happy with any of them, they either had high miles, an accident report on Carfax, or just didn't "fit".

While I was test driving this one car I got to talking to the woman and asked if they did lot financing, that I had no credit and was on disability. We talked for a while and when I got back the owner told me that if I put down $7k he would help me out with the rest.

He pointed me to a Camry, I got in and knew right away that it was "my" car. I took it on a pretty long drive and everything was great.

So I tell him that I want to buy the car. I give him the $7k and he puts me on a 17 month payment plan for the rest, interest free!

And now I've got a $12,000 2005 Camry with 60k miles, no body damage, scratches, engine problems or anything. It's great.

I feel so freakin happy.
