Ok, here are the X-Rays of my 10 year old niece's broken right arm.

She's doing a lot better. They were supposed to put on her hard cast today but because of the stupid in-laws (her mom and grandmother) her arm shifted so they could only put on a more rigid soft cast until the end of next week. I told them she wasn't supposed to be moved for a week and so did her doctor but mom and g-mom think if you have medical degrees you're stupid and let her spend a few days at her g-moms house which involved moving her from her house, where I was staying with her. The reason why it was so important she not be moved is because if the bones shift to much (which doesn't take much force to do at all) she'd have to end up with pins in her arm.

(Oh and I know I had said she was 7 earlier but she ain't, she's 10. I even forget how old I am at times lol)

Good news first: I got the new Star Trek movie today and Kirk makes me wet ;)

Iffy news: When I next see my dr I'm going to have him place me on a schedule to get off my pain meds for a try to see if they're the cause of my GI problems. I can't keep living with near constant nausea, vomiting, cramps etc and if this is the cause then I'm going to fix it.

Of course if it's not the cause.....may God give me strength.

It's been a rather icky 2 days. Yesterday I was feeling a bit sick and then for several hours last night I threw up. At least today I'm feeling somewhat better and only lost 2lbs instead of 4 like normal.

Today, my brother lost his job and my 7 year old niece (Sadie) broke her right arm (she's right handed). She was playing with her brother and another friend at the school park behind their house. For some reason she was walking along a bench and fell, breaking both bones in her lower arm. My nephew (Jonah) called 911 and then told the friend to stay with her as he ran to the house.

The EMT's had to give her a shot of morphine before they got to the ER. After a few hours she was able to go home and thankfully she was still able to eat (morphine can cause severe nausea).

Only last week she was here drawing pictures and telling us about stories she had written. I just pray the pain stays down and her arms heals very quickly.

Some good news, my friend Jenn said she would pay for my dental insurance long enough to get my teeth fixed, so only a few months. This makes me uber happy.

Now, if only I could have a vacation! lol

So I'm thinking about in investing in Mel Fisher's diving company (www.melfisher.com). They're the ones who found the Atocha and Santa Margarita (in all over $550 million in finds).

One reason I'm thinking about is the story of an Alabama school teacher who invested in them and came away with over $300,000 in gold, silver and emeralds another reason is well I'm a freaking numismatist and jewel collector so why not lol. The cool thing is your returns aren't paid in cash but as a fair share of the treasure :D Plus, if you can make it down to Fl and go diving with them you get to keep the first item you find up to 6x your investment amount. A single 400 year old silver coin with only $15 worth of silver in it is actually valued at $2,000 which is bloddy awesome.

Just an idea.

Perhaps, but what you seem to keep forgetting is I haven't the resources to get into real estate. Hell last year I made $2k....compared to $45k the year before and more before that. When you haven't worked 2 years and spent $4k/month on medical costs you tend to become "poor" kinda sorta fast lol

see thats where no money down techniques come in.....it doesnt take any money or credit to get started in realestate if you have the right mentor....i could help but you would need to do some studies and take action or its all for nought.

Well it's official, my name is changed. Nothing like being sworn in and telling my life story to a room filled with 70 people, 2 mics at my mouth and around 4 stenographers. It only took maybe 10 minutes.

All of that to go from:

Xzavier Israel Jacob Lynn Bogle-Rogers McInnes

to

Xzavier Israel Jacob Lynn Bogle McInnes

Technically "Rogers' is still part of my name but it doesn't have anymore legal power, thankfully.

*cries*

I've always had troubles with my teeth. I have a small mouth so some aren't straight and I used to drink coke, coffee and tea by the gallon so they aren't the most brilliant white. But, things have gotten much worse since I started taking some of the meds for my condition.

They lower the amount of saliva in your mouth which makes your teeth far more susceptible to damage. A little bit ago I was eating cereal (yes cereal) and I chipped a tooth! A few weeks ago I was eating some bacon and chipped a nearby tooth as well.

Anyone who knows me knows that I actually don't have a very good opinion of myself, my self-esteem is very low. So whenever things like this happen it makes it all the worse.

I need a fair amount of dental work on 4 teeth, 2 up front and 2 in back. What ticks me off is I could have dental insurance for only $25/mo but we all know how that goes.

I've always bought the best toothpastes, strips, gels etc to try and keep on the upside of the battle but I guess I've lost. Needless to say I'm pretty damn scared to eat.

Another bit of news is I lost the feeling in my left foot for several hours yesterday, which made my leisurely walk very interesting lol.

Tomorrow I go to court to have my last names rearranged to finally solve my 14 year problem with having one on my license and another on my social.

Some good news is that it used to take me 35 minutes to walk a mile (on a good day) but over the past few months I've been able to shave that to 20-25 minutes. I'm not allowed to do a lot of exercise (due to the risk of heart attack and over time greater pain/mobility problems) but it feels great to be able to walk a mile again, even if I can't do it every day.

Oh, I found the site listing all of the main conditions qualifying for disability and I think things will be looking up soon :) Here's the illnesses/symptoms that I fit into:

5.06, 11.14, 12.04 and 12.06

Now, if only the government will retract their statement calling me obese haha

In the dental department, I feel your pain. Hang in there man, as the Jews of old used to say 'this too shall pass'. Notice that there is an 'ass' in that statement. So even if all your teeth fell out and you ended up with implants or something like that you can always say that there is a little ass in in an old jewish folktale ;)

This isn't a pet peeve of mine so much as it's annoying and hard to understand how people don't know this, especially if they've gone to church or read the Bible.

You are NOT a Christian if you go to church.

You're not a Christian if you believe in God.

You're not a Christian if you're a good person.

You can ONLY be a Christian if you have accepted Jesus as your personal savior.

It doesn't matter if you've gone to church for your entire life. Unless you admitted you are a sinner and gave your soul, life, body, mind and spirit to Jesus if you were to die you'd go right to hell.

It's not some hard, complicated or unfair thing. It's a free gift, all you have to do is take it. It's like if I wanted to give you a car and you denied it then turned around and yelled at me because you couldn't get to work.

God can do pretty much anything he wants *except* stop/force a person to do/not do something they want. He can't go against our free will. The choice is ours to make, we can make it and be rewarded or we can refuse it and be punished, either way if you end up in Heaven or Hell it's all your fault.

I heard this little poem years ago and was waiting for an opportunity to share it...here it is...

Tis said by those folks in the know

That all good dogs to church will go.

I hold him as good, bit by bit,

Who stay at home and mind the spit.

For though good dogs to church may go,

The GOING there don't make 'em so.

Yep. Tis true!

I've got two things to talk about.

One is a series of crimes that's starting to freak me out. All of these have happened within 1,000 feet of my front door.

(at my complex)

3 months ago 2 black men tried to break into a young womans apartment.

A week later the same men beat and robbed a 50 year old woman walking to her apt. (in my building). Soon after the people who live next to me had their car broken into.

On the 3rd, at the complex behind me, a man was killed, thrown in a dumpster and set on fire. He was burnt beyond recognition. The day before a man was killed behind a gas station in the same area.

So I'm kinda freakin out. This area has always been quiet, my town tends to be friendly and open but it seems that is changing. I can only suspect as to why, I just hope that it stops and soon.

The other thing is, how to do you deal with a family member who owes you money?

A few months ago I gave my brother $400 for his car, house and smaller bills because he and his wife lost their jobs. Now, they're both working and no matter how many times I ask for them to start paying it back, even $20 here and there, they either "forget" or say they will but don't.

I can understand having difficulty but there's a limit. Any advice?

WOW. That is terrible. Really. not just crimes, but brutal crimes. . . . Well, good luck to you, beautiful.

And i know how you feel about the financial issues. i've often been stuck there, but haven't yet found a solution. i just, don't give what i'm no prepared to actually lose.

if someone gives some good advice, let me know.

I can sympathize with both points here. I live in a neighborhood in the historic district, and it is going straight to hell. You don't go walking around after dark here. As a woman I keep goodies in my hand that would make life extremely difficult for anyone who wants to mess with me, if I happen to have to go outside at night.

The second thing...my brother owed me my half of my mother's estate. He fiddle farted around for 2 years, all the while my half of the estate was drawing interest in his bank account. I should have said screw it, it's only money, but my mother said to split it 50/50. He kept "meaning to send it."

I mentioned this to one of his friends. This guy, bless him, pretended to be broke and asked my brother for a loan. My brother wrote him out a check for the amount I was owed, the guy cashed the check and gave the money to me. I took him out to dinner and thanked him profusely.

Needless to say, he hasn't paid my brother back. Karma is a bitch, ain't it?

And if you work out how to get the money back let me know. I lent someone $1,500.00 now they have disappeared. Fuckers!

Xzavier

He may be my brother but I'm not afraid to rough him up, one way or another. lol The story is a bit more complicated than what I've told but I'm not all that comfortable telling it. Meaning that it's more than just a random $400 I had. I'll get it back, I just hope I still have a brother as well.
