Not gonna lie...Wednesday night was the hardest night I've had in awhile at work. I literally broke down and cried. All that could go wrong at work that night, went wrong. I managed to get one pot roast out at work, then the other two we had were not temping at all. They were sitting in the 100s to maybe 140s and part of the center was still frozen. I moved on to plan B that night, which was corn dog nuggets. My one of my coworkers stepped in though and took over. The line people ended up stressing me out so badly, and then I discovered that our steamer stopped working again as well. So, the pot roasts ended up going into the oven. I managed to get ONE out Weds night and that was it.
Fast forward to today..I got into it with the kitchen manager. She had the audacity to compare me to the head cook. Saying that the head cook thinks ahead. Mind you, I only work ONE ALL DAY A WEEK. Which happens to be Fridays. I'm mostly 11am-7:30pm (Closing shift). Ugh. I get it, I messed up, you don't have to make me feel like shit. Yet, me being who I am, I ended up being a massive asshole in the end and fired back and let's just say she didn't like that.
I basically spilled something and she goes
"Oh my god...you're so messy"
I straight out told her
"If I was making a mess, it's on accident. If I wanted to do it on purpose, I would."
Seriously. Don't EVER come at me like that unless you want my asshole side. I'm normally the clean as you go person. Ugh. I'm just over this at this point ....
