My wife's prayer for me

Dear lord:

My husband runs the roads full and on empty
His hands always on the wheel
His truck is made of hard steel

Keep his hand strong on the wheel
Keep his eyes open even nn the darkest nights
when he cannot rest till his job is done

Give him blessings for a job well done
Give him strength to hold the hammer down
even when the wind and storm pounds him all around

Keep the eighteen wheels on the road
with the steering wheel he has to hold
Give him love from me when he cannot come home

Give him clear roads and clear skies
so he can get to the end of ride
safe and at home where his family
resides

Oh lord hear my prayer for my driver
and bring him to me safe and sound so then he
can go again to the music east bound and down.
