Spell for Helping a Friend Make a Decision

You need to have permission of your friend (the one you're casting it for) to make it work. It's best to do this on a waxing moon and on a Wednesday.



You will need: 1 Orange Taper Candle with holder, 1 White Taper Candle with holder. A Large Church candle with a green ribbon tied around it, A piece of opal, aquamarine or citrine, Symbol of Mercury (Hermes)



Put the taper candles beside the Church candle. Cast your circle. Hold the gemstone in your left hand and the symbol in your right hand and say:



"Hermes, give (friends name) answers in her sleep, And make them his/hers to keep, Give him/her guidance, clear and true, So he/she knows what to do, And it harm none so mote it be!"



Meditate about your friend making the right decision. Thank Mercury/Hermes and the elements. Close your circle. Don't forget to snuff your candles out, NOT blow them out!

Spell to Conceive a Daughter

During your most fertile time arrange three candles in a triangle. At the top should be a silver one (Moon), to the left a brown one (Earth) and to the right a blue one (Water). These are the symbols of the Mother. Take a rose (blossom only) and place it in the center of the triangle. Using a thorn from the rose stem, prick your finger and squeeze three drops of blood on top of the bloom. Repeating the following:



"Sweet as the rose may be, and as strong as the thorn

From this union of flesh and spirit, my daughter is born"



Visualize a rose bush growing and flowering before you. Its blossoms smell sweet and the thorns are proof that woman is both beautiful and powerful. Soft and strong. Hold this image in your mind for a few minutes. Picture the leaves rustling with the breeze, butterflies drifting around the blooms. Now, picture an infant lying at the base of the bush, gently cradled by the curling stems and buds. Picture her as you would like your daughter to be, happy, healthy, smiling. Hold this image for a few moments.



When you are ready, take the rose and place it under the mattress before making love. Let the candles burn down. Each night before attempting to conceive, repeat using new candles and a new rose blossom.

One week prior to ovulation, Mom-to-be should increase her consumption of citrus/acidic foods (tomatoes, oranges, lemons, etc), nuts and leafy greens like kale or spinach. Avoid greasy or oily meats (sausages, pepperoni, pork). If you aren't already, consider taking a folic acid supplement.



The day before your most fertile day, the actual day, and the day after, place three new candles of equal size (1 blue, 1 pink, 1 white) near the bed.



The father-to-be should light the blue candle and say the following:

A simple spell to stop nightmares

This is a very simple ritual, easy for everyone to perform. It should work for people who have repeating nightmares (children as well ; a friend of mine reported it helped him with insomnia, though)



You need:



one white candle (not big)

one white or silver ribbon (it should be long enough to fit your wrist)

any piece of silver/ an object made of silver that you don't constantly wear on yourself and sleep with it (it can be a ring you don't wear, or a silver cup, even a silver spoon)

Sit in the dark in your bedroom, put the ribbon around the candle, light the candle and put it some place opposite to your face. Watch the flame burning for couple of minutes and relax... then close your eyes and imagine beautiful scenes... which are, in your mind, related to emotions of happiness and peace. It could be anything, it's quite an individual thing. Meditate for as long as you wish... When you feel relaxed and able to focus on one single thing, approach the window, holding the burning candle in your hands, and look at the Moon. If you can't see it from your window, or any other window at your place, or from the yard, just keep on standing there and then just look at the Sky. Say these words:



The Moon is my friend

who's listening to me

bringing the beauty

into my dreams.

The stars are here

forever to shine,

bringing serenity

and peace of mind.

When I close my eyes

they won't be gone,

keeping me safe

till the dawn.



You can repeat these words for as many times you want, if you feel you need to.



After this, extinguish the flame, in case the candle haven't burned down, take off the ribbon and put it around your wrist before going to bed. Leave the candle and a piece of silver on your window till the next morning. Then remove both of them, and the silver ribbon from your wrist. You can repeat this ritual 1-3 times a week, always using a new candle and a new ribbon. However, collect the ribbons. When you feel your nightmares are gone and you got rid of them, you can still go doing this little ritual once a week. It can be done on any night of the week.

Simple Funerary Rite

You will need a fire safe bowl, a half cup of wine, a stick of incense, a white candle and a photo of the person if possible.



If you can do so, do this outdoors. If not, inside is fine. Sit on the ground/floor. Light the candle and the stick of incense that reminds you of your friend. (IE. if he was an outdoorsman, select a woodsy scent like evergreen or sandalwood, if he was a homebody, cinnamon, etc.) If you have a photo of him, set it in front of you. If not, hold the image of your friend firmly in your mind.



Take a small fire-safe bowl filled with the wine. Warm the wine over the candle flame. Visualizing your friend surrounded by a soft white glow, wish him well on his journey and assure him you will see him again in your next life. Drink the wine and let yourself remember all the wonderful things you and he shared.

Spell to summon a loved ones spirit (follow precisely)

To create an incense portal for summoning the ancestor spirits from the otherworld, you will need an altar complete with pictures and items to honor them. In a strongly protected circle, place lavender, cinnamon, and wormwood on the coals.





Call out only to benevolent and loving ancestor spirits by saying:





"Blood of my blood, you spirits of love,

Come from below and from above;

Entities loving who wish me well,

Come to this circle when I sound the bell. "





Intone (ring) a bell three times and welcome the ancestors’ spirits. Afterwards, ring the bell seven times to send them back through the portal so you can close your circle.
